This is a really well made, awesomely comfortable shoe, which I am returning because of the fit. My feet are medium leaning towards narrow width, with high arch and instep, US 6-1/2, or 37. I have been wearing Dansko for over 30 years; clogs, boots & sandals. 99% of the time a 37 is perfect, occasionally I need to go up or down 1 size in a particular shoe. That is no longer the case. I don’t know what Dansko has done with their sizing but it’s all over the place. In general they seem to be wider and shorter. However this boot is narrower and longer. The arch in this shoe is perfectly placed for me but the shoes are about 1/4” longer than my other 37’s. Width when I first put them on was a little snug but wearing them in the house for an hour loosened that up. They feel heavenly to stand in; great support and cushioning. But it’s difficult to walk around in them. My heal slips a lot and I’m afraid if the width continues to relax they will be flopping around and hard to keep on when I’m wearing them out and around like normal shoes. I hated to take them off. They make great slippers but the heavy soles and sturdy traction make it clear they are made for more challenging activities than watch TV in my pajamas.

I have worn many danskos. These are by far thr most comfortable I have ever worn. There is no stiffness, no wear in time. I can wear all day and have no foot pain. Cork sole will mold to foot over time. Cute with jeans or scrubs.

Plenty of toe room, arch support, beautiful leather, no problem getting in boot, the heel is slightly loose. I normally wear a 41, but the 40 is a perfect fit in this boot. For reference, my foot is a narrowish-medium width, low volume, with long toes, narrow heel.

These Dansko boots were supposed to fit like my other Dansko shoes. They rubbed my ankle and were so uncomfortable from toe to heel. They were cute, but that was the best part.

I am a complete lover of Dansko, and these boots fit my expectations. The fit is as expected and quality is great. These are comfortable and super cute, able to be paired with jeans or nice pants for work! The sole/heel also feels more stable and less likely to cause my foot to roll (which I’ve done in a few of their other styles). Definitely a keeper!
