Like all Dansko shoes, these run a bit small. The adjustable buckles accommodate my wider foot. They offer good arch support and are comfortable. I bought them for using them by the pool since they are synthetic. They are comfortable and stish for wear with any outfit. I even use them as summer slippers for the arch support. Finally! A comfortable sandle for someone using medical orthotics! Stiff sandle with arch support! Looks like real wood on bottom. Highly recommend this sandle. Second pair for me. Eleven year old grand daughter wants them!

I want to love these, because they are Dansko and nice looking and comfortable - for the first hour or so, but the straps rub the top of my toes and blister them, and the synthetic footbed makes my feet perspire, which creates friction, which irritates the bottom of my feet, and my feet and legs and lower back tire out and hurt. Not my normal response to wearing Dansko shoes. Not by a long shot. Maybe in time they will become more comfortable. I hope so… and, thankfully, by the end of summer they have shaped up nicely and feel comfortable. Yay. After a break in period, they are much better ... show more

I love these sandals! They have great arch support and are flexible and comfortable. I wore these several times instead of tennis shoes for long walks in the neighborhood or for visiting theme parks. I ordered these in numerous colors and they are my spring/summer preference for shoes!

I purchased this sandal because they were the same height and nearly identical to an older sandal I own. The older sandal I own is identical to the Sophie sandal, except the height on the Sophie sandal is 1/2" higher and was less comfortable for me suffering from plantar fasciitis. Their straps were made of nubuck and were comfortable right out of the box. I own three pairs - black and two beige nubuck. I am still wearing my original beige nubuck for nearly 10-12 years and they look like brand new - even the sole! Please, Dansko, don't cheapen your products by downgrading materials used. Customers are willing to pay more for a better product. Or, offer both if you can. Love, love, love my old ones and I can't even count the number of people come up to me and ask where they can get them !! Believe me, you would have customers standing in line for my old sandals.
