I bought a size 10, fits perfectly even w/ thick socks and ample toe room. I don't intend to use it for serious hiking and likely to use it for urban use during winter. It is light and easy to lace up. The "green" looks more "grey" and that is the only minor negative for me.

Wow. These fit MUCH better than the than the Merrell Moab 2's I bought. I had to try 3 different Merrells to get the right fit (they run small), and though I ended up with a wide 9.5 (I wear a 9), they still feel a little too snug. As soon as I put on the Danners, I knew I had a good shoe... Despite some reviews saying they take awhile to break in, I went on a hike tonight, and they felt great right away. Seem to be well constructed (Merrell's are starting to come apart in a few places), and look great. Recommend! ... show more

This is my first pair of Danners. They are like a pair of ballet slippers. Lightweight, perfectly smooth inside, flexible. I have worn them in the rain and through puddles and my feet have stayed perfectly dry. The white midsole is a neat touch and adds to the style. The outsole tread is not the deepest so I have slid a little bit on wet pavement. I'm a big size 12, usually have to get 13 in running shoes but these fit great.
