Bought a pair of these for my old man in August of 2021. He works on a ranch five days a week. Trims trees, fills feeders, mows, weedeats, etc. He also wore anytime he went hunting. Fair to say he probably wore them around 270 days a year. Finally, right around the summer of 2024 the seam began to bust on the outside of the boot. I got him another pair for Christmas and he couldn’t be happier. I bought a pair for myself last year as well and I am just as happy. Light, durable, and comfortable. After 30 years of failures, I finally found the boot that delivers as advertised! My key factors, waterproof and lightweight! Walking in wet grass, most boots, get wet even when they advertise waterproof! These are comfortable and worth the money

i’d give these 5 stars if the leather was a tougher material. they do get scuffed easily which is why they will only last so long. overall great boot just know they probably will only last a year or so if you take good care of them. this is my second pair.

My hubby loves these boots! They fit him perfectly! My husband has a size 11 foot and 12 foot and the 13s are just right. He has relatively wide feet and these offer him lots of room for a very comfy fit.

I just came in from walking the dog. We got caught in a rain shower. My feet are wet. The first time out in any sort of moisture in these boots. No fording streams or sloughing through swamps. Not even splashing in puddles. Just walking along the side of a paved road with occasional excursions into wet grass. 25-30 minutes, tops. I have dark wet blotches on my orthopedic insoles & damp socks. On Both Feet! So much for the Danner-Dri breathable, waterproof membrane. To add insult to Dampness, I had applied Danner Boot Dressing to these babies before I even wore them out of the house. In fairness, the Dressing makes no claim to be anything but a leather protectant, but I had hoped it might take a little load off the "waterproof" liner. Apparently it needs more help than that. What a shame. These are nice looking boots & feel just fine. I really wanted to love them. If where you live is consistently dry, I would have no second thoughts about recommending them you. But I live in the South & it is often tropical- hell, even this past winter we all nearly drowned in rain. If this is your problem, too, then you will want to apply something that is Actually waterproofing to the uppers. Or look elsewhere. ( Curiously, these boots are made in Vietnam, a leading producer of rain ). ... show more

Had Danners for years. This is a new model that is a lighter weight version which is very comfortable. Used it for fishing last week and had my boots under water during a very wet weekend. Kept me very dry.
