Ok so here we are just before summer and the original shower knobs made of plastic cracks due to old age so I rush to a local hardware store to buy a replacement wanting something better that will actually last longer but again plastic so I purchased a knob kit and within a day plastic knobs stripped so frustrated I come directly to amazon were I always find what I wanted and needed after a search found exactly what I was looking for a complete kit of metal chrome replacement shower knobs also screws caps and plastic sleeves as well as chrome backing plates it was very easy to install a skill level ( 1 ) male and female can do this job young or old all you need is a few simple hand tools 🧰 to remove and replace installing is as simple as removing them I recommend this kit save yourself the heart ache and heartbreak 💔 of buying cheep plastic shower knobs that crack or strip these metal shower knob kits are worth ever Penny sincerely johnathan r Valdez ... show more

I received 2 of them broken because of the flimsy packaging used for shipping, so inspect them when u get them. Other than that I like these, they are easy to install and a nice color.

After fitting, the plastic parts cause leakage through the handles. It was rather simple to install if you can find metal pieces to replace the plastic ones

2-13-19 Having now used these, I can say they are junk. Why? Because the quality of the metal is crap. You get what you pay for. Mine have already started to pit. I was right in my original review. They did not last and are not nickel. Shame again on Danco... Well, I expected better from Danco. Seeing that this is made in China, I am sure it will not last. First of all, this is more of a satin finish than it is a brushed nickle finish. The Chinese should know the difference by now. Shame on Danco. Second, the plastic pieces that fit into the handles will not stay in, so I had to use some plumbers putty on the outside edges of the caps. Definitely not worth $28.00, unless you really need them as I did. Also, I had to buy a three pack even though I only needed a two pack. That is why there are only two valves in my pictures. ... show more
