I’ve owned and worn many brands of boots in my nearly 60 years. Without exception, my Dan Post have been some of the most consistent in good fit and excellent wear. I’ve had several “expensive” boots that did not give me the same comfort, wear, or quality as my Dan Post boots. A few pair have lasted me over 20 years (resoled). For the money, it really is hard to beat these boots…you can spend a lot more money, but why would you want to? Know that my other boots are custom fit Black Jacks which I paid more than double than what I paid for the Dan Post. I will never buy custom boots again even though I love them. Custom boots are softer, smoother leather and fit like a glove but these start to break in fairly quick. Extremely happy with the value and fit of these boots. ... show more

I have wanted cowboy boots for more than 40 years and I finally decided to get some. My biggest concern was not being able to try them on before ordering a pair, but Amazon makes it easy to return them if they don't fit. Well, these fit great and I will not be returning them! I'm absolutely stunned, because I thought they'd be painful or stiff or some other issue, but right out of the box I love these! The color appears consistent, but I do see minor flaws in the manufacturing process (A crack is beginning to appear on the sole at the bend.) My feet, which I think are slightly on the narrow side, are very comfortable and it feels like a glove. I consider this an entry-level boot because of the price and quality. They probably won’t last forever, but I work in the city and live in the suburbs, so they are perfect for my lifestyle. UPDATE 28 November 2022: I loved the black cherry ones so much I bought the black ones. Everything is the same as above. I first purchased the exact same boot from a Tony Llama store in El Paso, TX in 2008. Been wearing the pair off and on since that time. After multiple sole replacement and other repair, I felt it was time to order another. With no intent on returning to El Paso to purchase the boots, I took a chance with Amazon. The boots are fine the only problem is that the advertised description said they had a rubber outsole and it is a leather sole. The reason I chose that particular boot is for the rubber sole. I believe that rubber is the best for using in wet weather conditions.

Well to start let me say this. It's my fault, I thought I could fit in a smaller size. So I'm normally a 9 in boots butter, since o got this from Amazon warehouse for a steal. I'm like, "hey, I have an ariat size 9, and it's a bit big. Maybe an 8.5 will be perfect. Plus it's a steal spoon likeeee why not?" I think thought. Well, turns out I'm a size 9. Because to hear we're so painful to use. Omgg. Maybe I should stick to my size. But still, quality is good, and the design is great. Otherwise the boot is sickk.
