This was my first lightsaber and OMG, it is amazing. I love the spinning kyber crystal. Other lightsaber companies have the same lightsaber but way more expensive. Learning to spin so I can be a Jedi for Halloween. I just saw Damiensaber has a new ultra-bright pixel blade with a six-sided led strip, so have to be the envy of the group. Love'in it. ... show more

The motorized rotating crystal looks awesome; but it makes a terrible obvious motor whine; even when slowed in the app to quiet it down. Everything looks very nice, but it is awkwardly blade-heavy. Most pixel blade sabers have a heavier hilt and a slightly shorter/lighter blade which makes them fun to wave around - this one is too top heavy so anyone with weaker wrists won't be abe to use it and those strong enough won't enjoy it. 36" Blade length makes it inappropriate to hang from the loop unless you had a 50" inseam. Bluetooth works fine when the saber is disassembled, but the hilt shields the signal so if you try to use the awesome app to make changes it connects/disconnects every few seconds. Motion control failures cause it to constantly go into "tip drag" mode which halts everything you're doing until you stop and exit that mode. There is no way to shut off tip drag mode. As long as you are mounting it on a wall and don't mind the incessant motor whine of the crystal it looks awesome. For it's flaws I would keep it for $70. For $200+ it was a no-brainer to return it. ... show more

The lightsaber is pretty cool In looks and the exposed crystal is the cherry on the cake,,, but the battery is a bit of a pill as in most these neopixel sabers. You get about an hour of good messing around before it starts acting weird and dying out. And that's after 4 hours of charging. I mean don't get me wrong for the lil bit of fun time is really cool.
