EXTEMELY low quality,I would have gave zero stars if possible. I would not recommend to anybody not even a beginner. Started falling apart before it even fully came out the package. Zipper broke off the second I tried to close it the net had tears in it the cheap plastic barriers holding it together were all cracked and damaged. It never even got assembled once before it was unusable. Please spend the extra couple of dollars for a better one I promise this one sucks.

This is a nice size and affordable trap to catch small saltwater bait fish and crabs to use for fishing. The trap is easy to setup and easy to transport, however the mesh is not that strong to prevent large saltwater fish from ripping it open to get the bait, the cheap plastic zipper had broken on me after 2 uses so I just used zip ties to keep the trap together and the rope to tie onto the trap is also no that strong. I lost the trap but luckily found it when something chewed through it. I use this trap also to catch freshwater minnows and works just as good but has the same issues mentioned above.

Do not buy unless you want to have a great time with your friends catching bass, crappie and bluegill from left and right every 10 minutes! Seriously a great purchase and would catch tons of minnows and fish! Great customer service and crazy durability. Caught a 5 lb bass and an alligator gar and it stood up! I would recommend buying booeys if you’re aiming for bigger fish than minnows because a bass took my trap and ran but I got it back. 😊 Also not only is the size perfect for ponds but the functionality for the price is amazing!

The zipper is flimsy, the pictures of the bait holders are deceptive they are smaller than they ing same for the Rope. Overall it's not horrible deserve the three three and a half star.

We've had several different minnow traps over the years, none have worked as well as this one. My grandsons were ecstatic the first time they pulled this out of the water. Not sure why it works so great, it just does. Folds up quite small for storage, nice and big when in use, and really easy to use.
