These rocks were, generally, what I was looking for. They were easy to clean and worked fine for this beginner rock painter. They are all smooth and paint adheres well to them. I was pleased enough to buy two more bags of them! About 1/3 of them are on the small side - about 1.75 inches all around, but I am able to work with them, though I prefer the ones that are closer to the advertised size. For much larger stones, I have gone to a local landscaping company and purchased them by the pound at a great price, but these are still just fine for my beginner level "give away" rocks. ... show more

I was looking forward to receiving these rocks. I wasn't impressed. Although you could paint on just about any rock, the majority of these weren't as advertised. Some were little more than a pebble. About half were flat, almost all were pitted, a few stones were slightly larger than advertised. Overall, okay - but, I'm probably not going to re-order. ... show more

Most of the rocks were around 2 inches, so not many bigger ones at all. Also a couple of them came broken. They were shipped in a soft package, so they can easily get broken during transport. Otherwise, they are rocks. Update: After posting my review the company reached out to me and offered me a refund and to ship rocks to replace the broken ones. I upgraded the rating since they stand behind their products. I would still keep in mind that most of these rocks are going to be around the 2 inch size and not the 3 inch size. If you are hoping for good rocks to paint, these will suffice, but I will opt for bigger ones in the future. ... show more

I’m surprised that I bought rocks but wanted to get a group of consistently sized and shaped rocks. I didn’t really get that but they will be close enough for my purposes. I tested out one rock so far and the results were great! I bought these for rock painting with my nieces for Easter. I think they are going to love it. ... show more
