I was suspicious of the quality relative to the inexpensive cost. All of my other reels are $200-$400 per. The Tatula is smooth and casts trouble free. I bought it to primarily skip under docks and it exceeds my expectations. Would recommend to anyone seeking a very cost effective reel. The Tatula reel has worked so well for me that I've purchased three of them! I started buying these back in 2018, and am glad I did. I kayak fish for both Largemouth and Smallies, and even manage to land a quite few large Pike with no issues on this reel. It's east to dial in, and longer casts are not an issue at all. Something that I just noticed...... I prefer a right hand retrieve, and that's what I've always bought here off Amazon - but I see they changed the listing to "Ambidextrous" now for some reason? I've always used the "Buy Again" feature, and always check to make sure it's the TTU100HS. Not sure why it's changed, but this will cause confusion for some people. ... show more
