The media could not be loaded. I really wanted this spindle to work, but the run out was completely unacceptable. Dial indicator suggests that it isn't the motor shaft, but the internal bore for the ER16 coupler to the shaft. The 1/8" collet that came with it was terribly cut so I bought additional to test and the results were the same (taking me back to an issue with the bore). It was reasonably quiet, but there was just no getting past the run out.

Easy to assemble and setup, however the spindle has too little torque to cut through aluminum. Even a drilling operation (with peck enabled and 0.3mm depth of cut) was difficult. I do not recommend this spindle for cutting soft metals. It is probably ok for wood and plastics.
