Works extremely well and runs rather cool (and not hot, as is a concern with 2.5 switches). Brought this because I needed my Wifi 6E access point to run at the full speed of 2.5 gigabits as it has a 2.5gbe port, and my router also has one 2.5 gbe port. So this switch pretty much is good for pass-through situations when a portion of your network needs to be 2.5 gigabit, and the rest is OK with 1 gigabit. Simple review: I have a home server with a 2.5Gb Intel I-225 V3 NIC and gigabit FIOS. Previously, when you'd remote into the server to download something it, your remote view would disconnect as you saturated the connection with downloads. Now, I can download at full speed while being able to download at gigabit speeds to a client. It also prevents wireless devices from suffering speed loss when transferring within the network. It's a hyper-specific use case, (2.5Gb on computer, only one 2.5Gb on router, and being willing to have everything else run at gigabit) but it solved a problem that I've been facing for a while. I bought this for my 1Gbps network with the expandability if I ever go to 2.5Gbps. I have my main PC on a 2.5Gb port and I am getting up to 1Gb speed as expected. The case is sturdy and the device just seems to work as it should. No drops that I can detect coming from the switch.

i bought this for the speed and its true to its labeling. only thing i would change is to put the activity lights on the other side so they are easier to see other then that great item
