So I've wanted a comforter for a few years now but I didn't want to pay $100 to $200 for one. And I wasn't sure that I really needed it. But finally I gave in and I started looking at these online and they were so inexpensive. First I want to say that all of the positive reviews are accurate. This comforter is so warm and cozy. It's just the right weight and I used a blanket underneath it and I slept so good. I normally use a couple of blankets and wake up a few times during the night because I'm getting cold. But this comforter gave me so much warmth without being too hot. I'm so impressed. Now to the other issue of the noise. I never even would have paid attention to that had people not brought it up. For me it's a non-issue. It's just a little bit of wrestling but when you're sleeping you don't hear it of course. So that may be concerning for some people it does make crinkly noises a little bit. But it never would have been on my radar had it not been brought up in this review thread. Overall I think it's amazing. I think it's absolutely worth the price. I'm very very happy with it. So I could recommend this to anyone that would like a comforter to help them keep warm that doesn't want to pay a bunch of money for a high-end comforter this is a lightweight medium level comforter. ... show more

This comforter is not nearly as soft as those we've gotten from other brands such as Lands End, Eddie Bauer, etc., or even others here on Amazon. I haven't washed it yet, so perhaps washing, drying, and using Mrs. Meyers softener will help. (I never use conventional softeners, as those are basically lard and chemicals, both of which would be particularly bad for a down comforter.) So, as a result of the particularly stiff fabric, it sounds kind of "crinkly" when moving around. That seems to bother my husband more than myself. He also moves around more, so I guess it may bother some more than others, especially those who move around a lot. It does however, seem to perform well in spite of that, and is toasty warm without feeling heavy. I haven't put my duvet cover on it yet either, so maybe that will be helpful. Give it some time to fluff up. Shaking it up and/or giving it a tumble in a non- heated dryer helps as well. ... show more

I’ve washed about three times. It has a crunchy and crispy feel. It is good if you are a hot sleeper or if you need an affordable down comforter. The feather fill is on the lighter side. Kinda flat…
