It came out fluffy. I have a duvet cover for it, so I don’t notice any noise like others have mentioned. I got the cal king for my king size bed, so it’s roomy. It doesn’t weigh a ton but it’s nice and warm. I can keep the windows open and even have the fan on for noise (I got too used to it over the summer) and I’m still plenty warm enough. We just moved and I got this for my 16 yr old son. Obviously you like the average teenager he's not that responsible that I'm going to spend $100 for a nice down blanket for him but he does get hot and so you know down is great for keeping you cool and also keeping you warm. It has a really soft texture to it and so far has been holding up well for the last 2 months that he's had it on his bed no complaints on his end and feels light enough that I can get away with throwing it in the wash like you're not supposed to do. Package was vacuum sealed, opened it up, and laid out the comforter. Flat as a piece of paper, definitely not like the other pictures. Starting to think mine is missing stuffing or those pictures aren't real. The outer material isn't that soft, it's smooth, but not soft.

I love that this comforter insert has so many loops for ties on the corners AND middle of each side. It’s warmer than I expected for how light it is and how thin is it (it’s not too thin but not thick and heavy either). I have it in a thin cotton jersey cover and I’m not sure if my cover or the cloth of the comforter is too thin, but I can feel some little feathers pricking me while I sleep and every morning I pull out at least 3 feathers when I make my bed ): the fabric has a sort of swooshy texture that I don’t love, but it’s in a cover so that doesnt really matter to me.
