I looked (a lot), and this stand seemed to be the only option on the market that might hold my beach cruiser vertically, work with my rear rack, not require mounting to the wall/ceiling, and not damage my fenders. That’s all true, and if I could find a visually-appealing space in my condo for it, I’d use it. I can’t bare clutter, so it’s probably going to live in my storage locker down the hall, which is unfortunately not large enough for my bike. The bike will live in my extra-narrow entryway. :P Anyway, the rack is very quick and easy to assemble . It looks ok. It seems sturdy enough, and my bike balances well enough in it. If you have clumsy or young humans or rambunctious pets, I think it could easily be tipped over. The stand has two holes for anchoring it to the floor, which would be good in those situations. I’m 5’3”, and strong for my size, but I struggled with setting my bike into place on the rack several times as I tried different placements for the stand around my apartment. A few times, I was struggling under the bike when the front tire got hooked on the top of the stand … I was nervous I’d bend the spokes, but was able to untangle soon enough, I think that problem would be exacerbated if I was low on energy from a day out riding, and much more irritating once my tires are dirty from use. This may be less of an issue if you’re taller or if you don’t have fenders that you’re carefully avoiding contact with. A final point of observation is that I couldn’t use the resting support (*3) above the tire, as intended, because my kickstand is in the way. Instead, I moved it below the tire to add more support there because my bike couldn’t make contact with the interior resting support (*2). I do like them and they're perfectly functional for everything that they say they will do. I have two in my living room, and they look fine and function perfectly. They aren't saving me a TON of space. In order to be able to access both bikes they have to be reasonably far apart to not get pedals and handlebars tangled. It does make accessing both bikes easier than if they were leaning against each other! They're serving their purpose, and the weight of my road e-bike has been fine, though it is on the lighter side of e-bikes, maybe 47lbs. They're super easy to assemble, feel a bit cheap, but are strong enough to do this job. Easy to get bikes in and out of usually, but are very light, and they slide and move some. Glad I got them on a sale price. If I could afford something better, I would probably go for something that hangs from a wall or is just a bit more heavy duty. They're not just going to fall over though. I feel like the bikes are very safe. ... show more

I didn't know what to really expect from a vertical bike stand, as this was going to be a gift for the bike rider in my life. But honestly, it's pretty amazing! It was effortless to assemble with clear instructions, marked packaging for each part, and it even came with all tools needed AND extras (including a spare bolt just in case! Also 2 Allen keys for properly tightening both sides easily...wow! I knew then I was going to be writing this lol!) I was nervous because it was a long day and I was rushing to assemble it before dark to show the recipient-- I finished in moments, adjusted it to his bike, and was able to do the big reveal! Though outdoors on a somewhat battered cement plank- it's incredibly stable and adjustable to make up for the unevenness of the ground below. He even can continue to use his cover while it's on the stand being stored, which was super important considering it is outside after all. I was looking at a few models and almost went with a slightly cheaper one that had a few negative comments. I'm so glad I paid the extra $10 for this one!! It's awesome and such a great buy! If I had a bike myself I'd get another! And most importantly, it left the recipient speechless at how sturdy and space saving it was. 10/10! ... show more

I tried 2 or 3 other bike racks to use for storage of my son's bike with extra wide tires in my apartment. This provided the vertical storage I needed without having to make any adjustments to the seat height like other ones I tried.
