  • Very light but not as compact as I expected
Color: Black Style: Melio
I was choosing between cybex and yoyo and I wanted a light weight stroller which is compact and easy to use, coz my trunk is small. Both have it’s pros and cons Cybex is 2 pound heavier than Yoyo which is ok, it’s very light and easy to maneuver. The only advantage of this stroller is that it gives me both views, mom view and world view, which Yoyo doesn’t have this feature. It’s canopy is very bid and that’s a plus too. But the problem is it’s stability. This stroller is not reliable enough coz it’s not very sturdy. Also looks very small as you see in the picture my 6 month old baby is already used all its space. I’m not sure if she fits in it when she grows. And at last, it has only two recline mode. One is so flat for sleeping and other is very upright for sitting. It’s very disappointing that it doesn’t have anything in between for a sitting relax but not laying. In my opinion it doesn’t worth the price. Now Yoyo 😉 My choice was yoyo, coz its very very compact when you fold it, I could even put it under her carsit in the back of the car and have the whole trunk empty for other stuff. I have to confess that cybex was easier to fold. Also rain-cover was included in the cybex package but not in Yoyo. Even cup holder was not included in yoyo’s package and you have to purchase them separately 😒 Yoyo was more sturdy and I liked its material a lot more that Cybex melio carbon. Its recline modes where adjustable with two straps on the back side and was ok for sitting and laying for relaxing. Overall fir me Yoyo was a better choice for 3-4 years of using ✌🏼 ... show more

  • Not bad
Color: Black Style: Melio
Good stroller, very light and manoeuvrable. I was very upset by the crooked seam on the hood. This spoils the appearance of the stroller and attracts attention. Other than that, the stroller lives up to my expectations so far. The child likes it too. It looks fragile, but I hope she doesn't roll over with the baby inside. I like how it rides. Another disadvantage is that the seat has only two positions - lying and sitting. I would like something in between. Everything else is good ... show more

  • Almost perfect
Color: Black Style: Melio
This Cybex Melio stroller is almost perfect. It is so lightweight that rolling it around is a breeze and we've had numerous people compliment it to us and say they can't believe how light it is. Overall we've been really impressed with the Melio using it primarily as a travel stroller with our 8 month old. It does have some flaws though that will keep it from taking the place of our daily driver (currently a Cruz V2). Pros: - Incredibly lightweight, nimble, and easy to control. - storage basket is plenty large enough to hold a large diaper bag plus extras. - front or rear facing seat. - removable back pad on the seat converts the seatback to just mesh which is great for hot weather to keep your child cool. - included rain cover. - stands on its own when folded. - has faired well in air travel and had no durability problems being gate checked for a handful of flights so far. Cons: - seat can only be adjusted to 2 positions; upright and laying down. The upright position seems almost too upright to the point of being uncomfortable. The reclined position is nearly flat and is great for stroller naps but I wish there was another middle/slight reclined position position. - doesn't fold down very compact. It's still way smaller than a full size stroller but we were expecting better than what is does. The latch that holds the stroller collapsed actually seems to restrict it from collapsing to its full potential. ... show more

  • Impressively lightweight, but I like the Priam a lot better.
Color: Black Style: Melio
I had the incredible opportunity to review not only this CYBEX Melio Carbon Stroller, but also the B07N1DB1MP Cybex Priam 3 Complete Stroller , so I have some comparison within the same brand. My baby takes multiple stroller rides per day so I've had a lot of opportunity to test these out. My conclusion? The Melio is incredibly lightweight and a bit cheaper, but you sacrifice a lot to have that. In the end it's not my favorite stroller. The Melio, in comparison, feels less stable especially during turns. It's almost like it's a bit top heavy. When you hit a bump in the sidewalk, it comes to an abrupt, jarring halt that both my husband and mom found unacceptable--they refused to use the stroller after just one walk with it. Despite it being wonderfully lightweight, the wheels are so small that most of the time it feels like the same amount of effort to push as the Priam, which is much heavier but has larger wheels. It is easier to push and keep straight one handed, so I can check things on my phone without needing to slow or stop. I also really liked the mega sunshade, I don't think any other stroller ever has that much coverage, and I love that it's an option! But the sunshade took two hands to operate, snapping the mesh ventilation/viewing windows open took two hands, and I guess I'm just a bit spoiled with the Priam. When I'm juggling a fussy baby I am looking for things to be as convenient as possible, and the additional hassle is not worth the weight savings for me. My petite baby's feet start to hang off the edge of the Melio, which he wasn't used to. The backrest isn't quite as adjustable as the Priam. The fabric isn't as pretty and didn't feel as nice. On the plus side though it does fold a lot better than the Priam, as it locks shut, and it's more narrow as well so I fit past construction signs on the sidewalk with ease in the Melio. The rain cover is just as great as with the Priam, as well as enough storage underneath for shopping. I do feel the vibration in my hands a lot more with the Melio than with the Priam, the entire thing just feels very rickety. I feel bad complaining because of course it does, it's lightweight, and that's the whole point. But try as I might I cannot convince myself to like the Melio, not even for trips. I'd rather navigate the heavier, less compact Priam because it gives so much better a strolling experience. ... show more
