Features

  • Optimal Oscillation: With a 60-degree wide-angle oscillation, this wood stove fan efficiently circulates warm airflow throughout your room, ensuring an even distribution of heat. Covering more areas in the room, it prevents heat from rising straight up or flowing only forward. This adjustable oscillation stove fan allows you to heat the room quickly and evenly.
  • Large Size & Moves More Air: With 5 large blades and built-in double chips, this woodstove fan is much more powerful, creating a larger air volume and maximizing the circulation of hot air. The maximum airflow of up to 330 CFM. this wood burning stove fan effectively spreads a warm and comforting breeze throughout your home.
  • Heat Powered Stove Fan: No batteries or electricity required, this fireplace fan is powered by heat from the stove surface to spin. Auto start-up temperature is as low as 140F (60C), and higher temperatures lead to faster rotation (Dont exceeding 650F / 345C). This wood burner fan can reduce wood consumption and lower heating costs. A perfect wood stove accessory for winter.
  • Silent Operation: With newly designed large reinforced 5 blades, this heat powered fan helps circulate warm air to raise the temperature, and it runs whisper quiet. You will feel the warmth without even noticing the stove fan is there.
  • Premium Quality & Durable: Made of anodized aluminum, this heat powered fan can resist high temperatures up to 650F (345C). No deformation, rusting, or discoloration even after prolonged operation in high temperatures.

  • It works and helps the hot air circulate
Color: Black Style: 4 Blades-Black
I bought this wood stove fan for my parents who have a wood fireplace that they use non-stop daily over the cold winter in the northeast because of high heating bill and free firewoods from their friends. They absolutely love the fan. They just put it on top of their wood stove and the blades move by itself. They said it help to circulate/spread the hot air around the house instead of just hot air around the stove area. They don’t find it noise although they do have hard hearings. They said they would recommend others to get one if they have a wood fire stove and use it daily. ... show more

  • Great Product!
Color: Black Style: 4 Blades-Black
OK, here we go. I read all the reviews on this fan. I looked at probably a dozen others. What I wanted, #1 was airflow. Not so worried about how quiet it was, though I do like the silence. As always, I think expectations have a great deal to do with a review. And, for this fan at least, I think this is a big part of why some love this fan, and others hate it. All of these thermal powered fans have 2 things in common. They run whisper quiet, and they don't move a lot of air. It's just the nature of the beast. If you want a good deal of air movement, you will need to get a plug-in fan. It's a simple as that. This being said, some of these thermal fans move more air than others. Some come on sooner than others. Some are more efficient than others. And some can take a higher temp than others. Add to this that some pictures I've seen, the reviewer has the fan in the wrong place on their stove. You can't fault the fan for that. In summary, I love this fan. According to the data sheet it moves about as much air as you'll get from one of these thermal powered fans. Which, again, isn't a great amount. But it is what I expected. And it's much better than not having the fan. I've given this fan 5 stars because it's doing exactly what the description says it will do. It comes on at low temperatures, it moves a decent amount of air, the quality of the build seems to be good. And it definitely warms the room more quickly. I can feel the air flow out to about 6 feet. For a little fan like this that has its own internal power source. It meets all of my expectations. We will have to see how it fares in longevity. ... show more

  • Really 3.5
Color: Black Style: 4 Blades-Black
Really a 3.5. it does what it is supposed to do. And to be fair we aren't using it on a wood stove but a Big Buddy Heater. I would give it 5 stars if it weren't so flimsy. We have it wired to the grill. Our dog hit it with his tail which cause the blades to bend. Then because it was hitting itself it fell forward. It's bent up pretty good now and makes a lot of noise when in use. But if you are going to use it on a stove, it'll work fine...as long as it NEVER gets knocked over, especially when it's spinning. ... show more

  • Moves air and has excellent customer service!
Color: Black Style: 4 Blades-Black
I've owned this fan for about a year now. It sits on the top of our Jotul stove, running silently. If you're expecting this to move as much air as a big box fan, you'll be disappointed. But if you're realistic about how much air a fan the size of your hand can move, then it's great. When it's spinning at a normal speed, mine can blow out a match at about two feet away. It doesn't SEEM like such a little fan should be able to make a difference but it does. When mine broke down (see below), I immediately noticed how much less the heat was dispersed from the stove. That brings me to the best part, I think: the customer service. This little fan suddenly stopped working last week. I'd had it for just over a year by then, spinning furiously away on the top of our woodstove non-stop for at least 7 months out of the year (Maine). Bummed, but not surprised (it had been working overtime), I checked the original product listing, and saw that it has a 2 year warranty. I emailed the seller, and they responded the same day. I figured there would be some rigamarole about mailing back this fan to get a replacement fan, but instead they said that while the product is built to last, eventually the motors do wear out....and therefore their fans have a repair kit! They mailed me the kit, which arrived in about a week. It included a new motor, heat chip, and even new little screws in case any of my original ones got lost. The instructions were very clear and easy to follow. You do need your own small phillips screwdriver, but otherwise everything was supplied, including a wee little allen wrench to remove the fan blades and a tiny tube of gel that is applied to help conduct the heat. It took me about fifteen minutes to fix, and I returned the fan to my woodstove. Waiting with bated breath....and then it started spinning again! Hooray! I don't know why this whole concept delighted me so much, except that we live in such a throw-away culture that I was completely astounded that a company not only made a good product but also planned ahead for how to repair the product when it inevitably wears out from steady use. No planned obsolescence here! It made me to much happier to know that only a small part of the product would end up in a landfill, rather than the whole thing. Product and company highly recommended! ... show more

  • Keep the box!
Color: Black Style: 4 Blades-Black
I use this fan on a little buddy heater to heat my garage when working out there. It defiantly makes a great addition to the heater. Just the little bit of air movement makes a big difference. And if you want to use a little buddy out side it is a must since most of the heat from them goes strait up. Just remember to KEEP the BOX. I made this mistake and ended up bending the blades up storing it over the summer. But, even after bending the blades back it still works good. After I bent the blades I thought maybe I'll try a different fan and a different way of mounting it to the heater so tried two other stove fans that both ended up being garbage. ... show more

  • Quiet and Blows strong air
Color: Black Style: 4 Blades-Black
I've purchased three heat fans now of different manufacturers and this one is by far the best! One fell over and broke, the other makes a bunch of noise when the fan spins slow, but this one is solid and feels much higher quality than other cheaper ones. You can tell that the fan rotor is much nicer when you lift and rotate it while its running, cheaper ones rattle and clank as the fan twists. I have a Vermont Casting stove so I have to move the fan every time I put fire wood in, so since this fan is solid I do not worry about clanking the fan rotor on something of even warping the bottom. ... show more
