If you don't have a large optic that needs a mount, this will do nicely. 3X9 or a 4X scope will fit this mount well. I can't write about how sturdy it is or how it will handle rough treatment. For the occasional usage and taking care of your gear, this mount will last a long time. Torqued screws to 18-inch pounds and so far, it is holding a zero. Since mounted it has remained. I'm not one to take off a mount often, so I can't comment about reattaching and if the zero is affected. The eye relief is not an issue nor the height of the rings and affecting the scope's center sight picture. It does depend on the facial structure, but for me it's perfect. The mount will fit a Milspec Picatinny rail securely.

I love these dual scope rings by cvlife they are air craft grade material that comes ready for a picatinny tail mount so it fit my applications perfectly this designed ring set is well though out as well . I use these to walk down scopes on PCP and break barrel high pressure air rifles. And for that they absolutely work perfectly they walked down on the picatinny rail with four screws and each scope ring has four screws as well is anyone knows that has any kind of spring or break barrel air rifles they will absolutely destroy stuff from impact shock . So far I try to use these on all my new air rifle builds they hold the scope Tight as can be just a little bit of blue loctite to keep screws from vibrating loose and so far I have not destroyed one scope I've used with these I recommend them to anybody that I know that uses air rifles as well they are very well made stronger than single rings (my opinion) look great and are really priced well .I would definitely recommend this to anyone who is interested in it

Not my first mount from them. It is pretty well made for the price point. Clean uniform finish. Torx-head screws. Recoil lugs. Everything looks and feels even and tight. Maybe not for critical duty, but certainly for hobbies - airsoft, plinking, hunting.

I purchased this to replace some ring mounts on a 22LR. While the existing rings were fine, I wanted something a bit more stable. The long base allows for more (and more secure) points of contact along the rail, and made for easy installation of a scope. I also added a bit of VC-3 Threadmate, and so far this has been absolutely rock solid. I'm pleased with the quality of this mount, and whatever additional weight might be added to the rifle is not really noticeable.

I have had the opportunity to try and review many products from CV life recently and I've been impressed by almost all of them for the value for the dollar. This mount continues that trend. The machining is well done, the finish is smooth and the hardware is of good quality. The days when you had to pay over $100 for a good scope mount are gone. This mount would be ideal for your AR pattern rifle as it is just about the right height. Make sure you follow the manufacturer's recommendations for torque specs so you don't strip your new hardware.
