Cvlife 1×30mm Red Green Dot Reflex Sight Cvlife Red & Green dot sight is made of aviation-grade aluminum alloy, which allows the red dot sight to keep zero well. Red and green dot and 5-level brightness adjustment can adapt to various light intensities. Zeroing: Select the color you desire by turning the reticle selector knob and set your intensity at the best position. The ideal distance for ‘sighting in’ is 50-100 yards .The next step is get the most stable position possible to fire a few rounds at your target. Each click adjustment moves the point of impact by 1 MOA. (approximately 1"± at 100 yds, 1/2"± at 50 yards) Product Feature Detachable spring guards lens cover can effectively prevent rain, gravel and dust from entering the lens and keep the lens clean and dry. Ok, let's get this out of the way...yes, It's cheap and certainly isn't a Romeo 5...so let's not compare it to one. As of recent, these are most definitely closing the gap on the Romeo 5, in the cost category but overall, It's a good, decent, functional and reliable little red/green dot scope. The ONLY complaint that I have about these is that the price keeps getting higher and higher here on Amazon. The price is what turned me on to these, (initially $23 in OCT 2019), and is what made me like them so much. Today's price, $40 is nearly double what I bought my first three units for not 8 months ago...with every price increase, these loose more of their advantage over a high-dollar red dot. As a matter of fact, I logged on tonight to buy three more but the price increase made me hold off and just write a review of my first six units. These have no magnification but for that matter, neither do the $100 & $200 red dots...all of these are just a dot and whatever eyesight you've got. Personally, I like to spend the majority of my money on guns NOT glass. I shoot an AR-15 in 3 gun and a 9mm PCC in IDPA and Tac Pistol at our local range. The targets are 10-20 yards typically and occasionally we'll get a 50-yard target. This red/green dot sight works perfectly for my uses and I have been pleased with all of them. At the end of the day, I now own six (6) of these and have them on lots of different guns. I was looking to buy three more of them but at $40, they're getting too close to the name brand red dots. They way I look at it, once you reach 40%-50% of what a big name optic costs...you may as well get the big name optic and get the extra frills that come with them, motion activated on/off, etc. I still love these though, just not the price increases. I started out with my first three to put on my son's air rifles, they were $23 to start with (8 months ago). After being pleasantly surprised with the air gun use, I ordered three more for my 22LR's. The second batch of three, 5 mos ago, the price jumped up to $29. I've got these on everything and they hold up very well. I have two of them on Crosman air guns, one springer, one pump, and they are still holding up to use/abuse from my 12 year old. I have another two of these on 22 LR rifles- a single shot break action 22 and a Ruger 10/22, reliable and all holding zero very well. I have another two of these on 9mm PCC's, one an AR-15 and another on a Ruger PC9 that I shoot PCC matches in every month. All total, we've put about 6,000 rounds of bb's & pellets through them, over 4,000 rounds of 22LR and just over 2,500 rounds of 9mm through these and they're all holding up well, not a single problem. Unfortunately, my only problem now is that I'm skiddish to order another three for $120 total when I still have fresh memories if my first three in Oct 2019 that cost $69 total. My only problem is the price increases...maybe it's Trumps tariffs on goods from "Ch-eye-na", maybe it's popularity because these are selling so well, I dunno but I'm pausing on my next purchase of three solely because of the price. They're still a great red/green dot for the money but I've reached my pucker point for a cheap sight. Put another $60 with it and get a Romeo 5....it's making me think. :) ... show more

    • CHEAP CHINESE OPTICS KEEP GETTING BETTER

I really like the low-profile mount on this. The picatinny clamp installs with a single stud, where most others are double, requiring that you have the right notch pattern. This one being a single-stud is really nice, and that stud is an actual bolt that can be tightened down with fairly extreme pressure to prevent loosening with repeated recoil. The only downside I saw, and it's not much of one, is that it doesn't come with a spare battery. So I ordered a 20 pack on amazon for about 7 bucks. Shrug. No biggie. I always stick a spare battery up in the handle compartment of my sporting______s. I really like the matte black look. The site-picture is very clean, adjustable Red & Green, and each color has 5 brightness settings that adjust by twisting a pressure knob. The azimuth/elevation tuning screws are very loose (almost too loose), but just to the point that it makes them easily adjustable when fine-tuning. Additionally, it comes with flip-caps for the front and back glasses; a nice bonus that most don't come with. I can't believe the quality for the price on this. I will update once I've put a few hundreds rounds downrange. IMO, this dot is a solid win. NOTES TO BE AWARE OF. This is NOT a magnification piece. It's not a scope. It's a red/green dot site. If you're looking for magnification, this is NOT the item for you. Came in a timely manner, so as always, thank you, Amazon. ... show more

I purchased this scope with the intentions on putting it on a future purchase, but that purchase was delayed so this sat in the box, never opened for weeks.. When I was able to install, I opened the box and was unable to open the battery cap as it was cross threaded at the factory and I was unable to get it off and was worried about damaging the scope. Additionally, I looked and I was a few days past my return window. However after contacting CVLIFE, they took care of the issue without any problem. I sent a picture showing what was wrong and they contacted me the next day and had another scope in the mail right away. Great customer service!! Now as to the scope itself, I haven't made it to the range yet, but attaching it and sighting it in using laser sights was very easy. The scope appears to be well made , battery case easy to get to and change out. Also changes from red to green with just a few adjustable clicks. I rated accuracy 5 stars based on my experiences with other CVLIFE optics. A great product is only half of the reason to do business with a company, how they handle you after the sale is what will keep you as a customer (or not). Thumbs up CVLIFE!! **UPDATE took this out to the range on my Ruger PC Carbine, and accuracy stayed true after several boxes of ammo. Great scope for the price. **UPDATE 2- I like this scope so much I have 3 of them. Another nice feature is the ability to flip the mount if needed, which I've done twice. The only con would be is the pin that holds the flip cover on the scope came out a couple times but I've replaced that with a piece I cut off a large paperclip and I bent the ends so the pin won't come off again. ... show more

This worked really well on my 2 Keystone bolt action pistols. After getting them sighted in, they just worked so well. One is on a .22 caliber and the other is on my .22 magnum. Great product, even in broad daylight it was plenty bright on setting 2. More than happy with the purchase.

I wanted to wait until I had some experience with this red dot scope before I posted a review about it. This scope arrived well packaged in a rather nice looking box, no brand but just a generic box that said "red dot scope" across the top of it. The scope is VERY well built on the scope I received, and the dial to adjust brightness has a very quiet but tactile bump; you know you turned it. I mounted this to my Palmetto State Armory 9mm AR and zeroed it in at 20 yards, as this rifle is my home defense weapon. I thought why not and started taking shots at my 100 yd ar500 steel targets, and was surprised when I was hitting them every time.I accidentally dropped my rifle when unloading it from my truck, directly falling on the scope. I thought I had broken it, but imagine my surprise when it was fine and still maintained zero! Here is a bit of advice: LOCTITE LOCTITE LOCTITE!! You need to use loctite on the securing screw otherwise it will back off. Since I used loctite I've fired 400 rounds with no change in impact point. I really love this scope and I would buy another without hesitation. NOTE: If the dot is blurry, chances are its your eyes. I had a reflex sight that was crisp and clear, then when I got this sight the dot had a halo around it in dark areas and a comet tail in bright areas. Come to find out I had astigmatism. If you take a picture of the dot with your phone camera you can see if there is a defect with the dot, and in my case it was a perfect crisp dot. I mostly use it in bright environments so it doesn't bother me, its still an AWESOME sight! ... show more
