    • Bargain Scope with just the basics you need for a 22 LR
I have a Smith and Wesson M&P 15-22 Sport .22 LR. Mainly used for plinking in the back yard and have been pretty much just iron sights up to about 50 yards. This might be what I need if I feel like taking on the coyotes that are pestering all of the neighborhood chicken coops. (unless it's bob cats' but pretty sure we hear yelping every night down the creek bed.) + This is solid aluminum. Super light and easy to install on the rail. + I know it says 400Y, but I doubt I would shoot beyond 150 with a 22LR. It does easily focus 400, but I don't think I'd ever be shooting that far. For 150 Yards this is way more than adequate. + The lens covers are easy to use and not in the way. I found it easy to manipulate in shooting position. + Sighting/Zeroing it in at 150 was super easy. The adjustments out of the box I had to make were minor. I don't know if they do something before hand but I thought that was great. My groupings could be better, but that's more my bad technique than the fault of the scope For what I needed this is a great bargain scope. I feel I can hit my target now at 3x my old distance, which just might save a few chickens. ... show more

This is a very nice basic scope for your rimfire, pellet/bb, or airsoft rifle or even crossbow. It is easy to install, lightweight, accurate enough (I don't shoot competition and if you do and your looking at this...well, that's on you) and easy to adjust for elevation and windage. IF you don't violate the rimfire rule you shouldn't have a problem with it holding zero...well maybe with 22 mag but I doubt it. Over nice little scope on my 10 22 hunter x. ... show more

The glass is clear, clean and crisp. The reticle is easily seen. It is compact, and perfect for any small bore or mid bore air rifle, crossbow, and small plinking powder burners. My brother got my son a 22 caliber rifle last christmas and this is the scope I got for it. My wife has a no guns rule in the house, so my brother has all our tactical weapons (knives, pistols and rifles) at his place. He has been fiddling around with the scope and is impressed with the value and quality it brings. The feature he likes the most is that there is no need for tools to adjust the sights. The other things he points out is that the scope is lightweight and that the optics are great for a $50-ish dollar scope.     • Really nice scope for the price
The biggest problems we've had with most rifle scopes are eye relief, and staying sighted-in with continued use. And (in cheaper scopes), the crosshairs you're going to target with turn out to be slightly skewed and not very useful. This scope has none of these problems, and feels solidly constructed even though it's lightweight. I'd recommend this scope to anyone who needs value pricing without compromising good quality. ... show more

They don't even mention that these are nitrogen gassed! Surprisingly clear optics, spring loaded covers, hand tighten-able weaver style low profile rings and a short body makes this super fun on almost every plinker I have. This could easily be used on a deer hunting kit to keep things lighter and tighter than one might expect. Windage is finger adjustable and toolless, each click being firm and clean. ... show more
