I've tested this scope on a 22LR pistol. I can definitely see farther out with the scope than without one, and it is quite accurate despite my initial skepticism. It does have a airsoft-like cheap feel to it, but it does hold up on its own in practice. (At least on a 22 LR pistol at around 75 ft, anyway). For a budget beginner scope, I think this is a reasonable choice. I appreciate that dovetail mounts were included (I used another mount instead however, since my pistol only has a picatinny rail on it). ... show more

I got this as a gift for my husband. He’s still checking it out but hopefully he gets some use out of it in the future. It seems okay for an inexpensive scope. I’ll update after we’ve been able to use it more.

It is pictured on a pellet gun (to try the 11mm Dovetail mounts), but I am going to move it up. It has no parallax adjustment or illumination, but it is surprisingly bright and clear. Plain reticle but crisp. Diopter adjustment is a bit stiff, but will stay in focus. A basic scope with that does the basics really quite well. Sight picture is really quite bright and the reticle crisp. Eyebox size is average, not too tight, very usable. In no way a toy (though it is quite light), this scope performs way above it's price. If I had to find a con, it would be the lack of a throw lever for the zoom. ... show more

I'm very pleased with the scope, however, beware that this model comes with narrow dovetail rail mounts, NOT Picitinny rail mounts. I now have to buy separate mounts to connect my scope to my M&P 22LR carbine which is very disappointing. Be sure to check the type of mounting rails that come with your scope and buy only those with Picitinny rail connectors (if that's what you have on your rifle). I wish I'd noticed this before I bought from Amazon. Other than the rails, the scope is great. ... show more
