The media could not be loaded. Works great, however had to thread the holes for the air clear. I think it was made in a Friday and the holes were not threaded. Popped the carb in and bike started right up. Great value.

    • Air filter housing screw holes
This carb is an adequate part . My message to the mfg. is on the three screw holes that the air cleaner housing bolt to , need to have all 3 holes drilled all the way thru and tapped to 1/4 in thread. This carb has one hole drilled all the way thru and 2 holes do not . So the housing can not be mounted . And it had to be returned , the carbs you have in stock can easily be re machined by drilling out the 2 holes and tap it . I have the skills to , But I’m not interested in doing it as I could damage the carb. Respect ... show more

The description is wrong. It does not include a cable. There is also a tool pictured that is not included. The bolt holes are not right and have to be rethreaded, it wasn't hard but it was an inconvenience. I installed the carburetor and as soon as the gas was turned on it flooded over. Removed the carburetor and found the needle seized in the seat by a spot of corrosion. Sanded it clean, reassembled and then it worked. Things could have been better. ... show more

    • DO NOT BUY!!! WRONG SIZE AIR CLEANER THREADS THAT ARE TOTALLY ALIEN TO UNITED STATES AND UK
DO NOT BUY!!!! Bought for 99 Harley Dyna FXD. The threads they drilled for air cleaner which should be 1/4 are NOT RIGHT!! I went to countless hardware stored trying to find right bolt size. IT IS NOT STANDARD, METRIC, OR EVEN WHITWORTH BOLT!!!!!! ITS TOTALLY ALIEN THREAD PATTERN TO THE UNITED STATES AND UK. The thread size is somewhere between M6 AND M8, PITCH 1.00-1.25. None of those will fit. They are cheap because either someone threaded them wrong at company and needed to get rid of them fast. The carb works perfectly, but it's useless when you can mount up air cleaner. Am I supposed to just put a bag and rubber band over my carb?! What a joke! DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY OR TIME. YOU WILL NOT BE ABLE TO TAP TO 1/4, THERE IS NOT ENOUGH MEAT ON HOLES TO TAP YOURSELF. AMAZON NEEDS TO STEP UP AND GET PEOPLE LIKE THIS OFF OF HERE! ... show more
