I got these for my son to work on a spud farm for the summer. He was moving pipe so he needed these to walk through the mud and water without getting his feet wet. He's been using them for 5 weeks now and they're holding up great! He wears a size 9 shoe and these fit him good. The material is very thin on the legs, thicker and stronger on the foot. They have good traction.

The media could not be loaded. Literally, the very first thing that's unavoidable to seize your attention- they're HEAVY. Really heavy. Like, ask yourself how hard have I worked today and do I really want to lug this many pounds attached to my legs heavy. The next thing I couldn't help notice- the questionable seam quality. But not on both. They look like they were made from very different batches. I'm betting if you buy these on a gamble your odds are pretty even across the board for what you have arrive. I did lightly wear these once before doing the pics for this review- they did now come dusty like that. They definitely do have a strong not rubber and not plastic smell. I don't know if that matters to anybody. I got these for hurricane and season rain chores and livestock tending. I've seen before and after ordering these that they are constantly going on sale. And they have regular open box deals. That may be a warning as to quality, actually. But for the price I paid,you really can't beat it. I'm hoping the weight is an indicator of sturdiness. I had spent too much time looking for boots to fit my needs.. and ironically, a couple weeks apart, when these came in I realized I got the identical pair for my son. Good thing they have size style options designed in. Think of it like cut to fit insoles- for your boot height.

Boot is sized larger I probably could have ordered 9 instead of 10 which is what I wear. Size I ordered was a loose fit. Very heavy thick boots. Rubs my ankles had to make a stretcher to keep ankles from rubbing against boot. Very heavy duty

The boots get the job done. However there are two things to keep in mind. First, I wear a size 10 in everything I own. This boot, however, is too big. The fit is very loose mainly due to width. Second issue I have found is that the ankle of the boot needs some re-enforcement. Difficult to describe, but the weight of the upper boot causes the ankle area to collapse inward. So, it creates a pinch point at the ankle. I have to stuff some old towels into the boot to keep the ankles expanded, otherwise it collapses on itself and the ankles pinch and rub. That's the best that I can describe what happens. If this was an all day, every day boot, I would have sent it back. But, since I only wear for a short time on occasion, it is okay for my needs.

...but with these Boots you could! I purchased these for the snow and rain.I still shovel snow and,at times,go out in the rain.I should have bought these in the beginning of winter but you know how things go,priorities and everything.Well, I checked all the makers of "Galloshes" on Amazon and was surprised at some of the prices,ranging from 2 to 3 digits.I live in Conn. not Beverly Hills!I looked at all the different styles and the CLC brand (Custom Leather Crafts) was and I believe is Thee Best and the price is also Thee Best.The Boots arrived a few hours ago and I was very surprised at the construction as them bein VERY WELL made and they are not flimsy as some are!I put on a pair of heavy socks and went for a walk.I went on the RailRoad tracks where there are different textures,such as wood,gravel and metal.The walk went well and there was no problem.(Once again,the Rubber is a heavier grade then most).When YOU purchase these just make sure YOU click in your correct size,since these are OVER-THE-SOCK you do not have to allow for a shoe or boot to fit in.The only thing that I did no like was that they are made in China BUT that exlains the Incedible Price.Also, they are made in Injection-Mold Machines which do 100% of the work. Workers only put tags on them and ship them to the warehouses.They have 3 similar machines from the place where I retired from.In MY opinion,these Boots are Very Well made should cost more and are a Definitely a 5-Star product.If thy were not I would not plan on buying another pair for My Son!PLEASE NOTE: This is my review and it is how I feel about these Boots.If an item is 4.5 Stars,I give it 5 Stars.Just because I posted a 5-Star Review means ONLY My Feeling,if You purchase these and do not agree with My Review,it will not bother Me one bit!
