    • stiffer than other JT tailgate pad
Color: Tailgate Mat
I have the other tailgate pad for the gladiator. It's a softer rubber that rolls out. it fits over the tailgate, but is not formed to the exact shape. This one is much stiffer material. It arrives folded in half which creates a crease. It has to sit out in the direct sun to get it to straighten out. It is a very close match to the factory panels. While the other pad is meant to be drilled out and attached, this comes with velcro. Which is necessary if the rear camera or handle assembly need to be accessed. My tailgate has line-x, but liquid can still get under the access panels. I got this to use a cover to use the tailgate as a working surface. As stated, the pad doesn't exactly fit. It probably would work better on a tailgate that has not been lined. The material is more slick than the other pad which is more rubbery and has more traction. ... show more

    • Never could get the crease out of it
Color: Tailgate Mat
The tape included never worked at all so had to try our own tape. After installing, the tailgate would NOT close properly because of the fit so we removed it. The item shipped foled in half and never could get the crease out even using a hair dryer.
