Size up 1/2 size, especially if you plan to wear thick socks. Normally a 5.5 medium; 6 medium fits well. The best thing about these boots are the traction-- I walked on solid ice and never once slipped (and I am classified as a senior). Even with thermal socks, they did not protect from cold below 32 degrees. However, they are definitely waterproof.

Bought to keep at the Lake House for hikes. Mind you my hikes are 7 miles or less. So far have worn for 4 days straight, I put odor eaters in all my shoes, and so far approve of this purchase-thumbs up.

Ciertamente como otros han mencionado, la plantilla no es tan confortable. Sin embargo, la talla, el diseño, la suela, todo esta espectacular! La prueba de fuego será en unos días, les contaré más detalles entonces. Después de un buen recorrido en las montañas, puedo decir que mantuvieron su integridad. El camino fue empedrado y con mucho polvo. Me mantuvieron firme en el camino, sin resbalar, no use plantillas adicionales y mi pie se mantuvo confortable aún así. Recomendadas al 100%.

They run a bit large but I wore thick socks with them which helped. They need a few wears to break them in and caused a few blisters but overall would recommend for the price and quality!

These shoes seem well made and sturdy. I like the color. I have only wore them around the house, haven't had a chance to hike yet. Seem like they'll have good traction. One thing I don't like is, even though I felt with my hand and it seems there is a bit of arch support, the bottoms feel hard as rocks against my feet. Luckily I had a pair of inserts from another shoe.. put them in and whala... They are comfortable. It needed that though in my opinion. Not soft at all, and apparently my foot needs more arch support than what they got. Anyway, I'm satisfied. However, I wish they would have padded the bottoms a bit more Edit to add: have now worn on a few hiking trips, they work great! Had to leave inserts in, but these are very sturdy shoes. No leaking to this point
