WOW!! These are nice! I got these to wear while walking my dogs out in the country because I had a tick on me and wanted more protection on my feet and sandals. I thought due to the price they would be kind of flimsy, but these are nice and thick, and I can tell very great quality. Thry are a little heavier to walk in, so just be careful while getting used to them but I really like these. So worth the price. I hit a size bigger so I can easily slip them on and off, and there is some type of little piece sticking out in the back that makes it easy to hold down one boot with your foot to get them off, but very easy to get on and off for me

Updated review 07/2025: After 1.5 years of occasional use at the farm, and diligently keeping them cleaned up after wearing, these boots are still in perfect condition. No cracks, no leaks. Original review 01/2024: I volunteer at a nature preserve, where boots like these are really important. The first time I sunk in the phrag I was wearing hiking boots. Ended up with a submerged foot, water entered the boot, in the winter; not fun. I sunk deep enough that I needed to be lifted out! So, I ordered these, hoping that their great price would suffice & get me by, but they've exceeded my expectations. They do run a bit large, but I'm going to order a back up pair & will order a size down. I will update this review when that happens. I'm normally a W9.5, so ordered a W10/M8. I was able to add a full insert, for my plantar fasciitis, and there's still plenty of room left. They do feel a but awkward to walk around in, but I'd rather have too big than tight or snug. Did creek cleanup & ended up getting stuck in the muck, right off the bank. I could not pull my myself out, so I opted to slide my foot out of the boot, which slid out very easily, & removed the boot afterwards (with help). I had another incident prior to that, where again, easily slid my foot out of the boot & removed the boot from the muck afterwards. TIP: After removing any & all dirt, wipe entire boot with a rubber protectant. I Googled & found Armor All (or similar vehicle leather/vinyl protectant) was recommended, a lot. It'll hopefully extend the life of the boots & keep them protected from premature cracking.

Update 10/25: These finally cracked right by the bunion area. They haven't been stored in extreme heat, cold, or sun, so I'm a little surprised by the sudden crack, but I am rebuying IMMEDIATELY because they are exactly what I need on the farm. Original: I've been wearing these to go feed the cows during mud season, and they're holding up great so far. They're a little clunky for going up and down stairs, but I can move alright. I can crouch and squat without difficulty, and the heel tab makes removing them so much easier. I wear Women's 12/Mens 10, which I ordered, and they fit extremely well; I don't think I could wear a thick pair of socks in them, but the sole is nice and thick so I don't freeze my feet. This is also helpful when I step in thick mud because it doesn't let them get suctioned off my feet! Clay mud does stay stuck to the upper and sole, so I don't know what the "self cleaning sole" is all about, but I stop by the rain barrel and pour some water over to get the worst off before using a scrubber. Overall great boots.
