The shoes are very cute, but I deduct a star because not very comfortable. Padding needs to be thicker so you don’t feel everything as you stand, walk or dance.

These sandals have a beautiful design, but $70 is quite high for its poor construction. What a pity! It fits well, and it's secure around the ankle making it safe and comfortable to walk. However, after 15 minutes of walking in these sandals, on carpet, even, the middle of my toes (right where the thong stays) started hurting and got super red. If I had continued wearing these sandals I'd have a blister right there between my toes! Furthermore, the ball of the foot hurts, too; the sole is too thin and there isn't any "cushion" in there (right, Cushionaire? What a name for a shoe company that does not provide enough cushioning in the shoes!). The "leather croc type" looks cheesy to me, and the color "ivory" is not my favorite, either. It looks like a grimy white. I'd rather have it white, or red, but they don't seem to be available. Anyway, when we consider blisters, color assortment is not that important. I might try those silicone gel thong protectors and see if they work so I can wear these sandals. ... show more

Why did you pick this product vs others?: So I thought that this looked unique, and it is ok, and does look the same in person, but its a bit awkward where, bc there is no backing you are walking and relying only on the upper straps, and it feels very strange and uncomfortable to be having the back of your foot out like that, esp bc the bottom might be clapping the underside of your foot as you walk. Also, this is a weird experience for the about 90 dollars that it was initially for, so I cannot recommend it. ... show more

The square toe provides space to keep all your toes in check- depending on how wide your foot/toes may be? Kitten heels are the choice option this summer style, and these look great, feel good- they come with a little padding already - with room to add a sole support if needed, and nice value.
