  • The Ultimate Hold for DIY Press-On Nails The Ultimate Hold for DIY Press-On Nails
As a complete novice to press-on nails, my motivation for switching from salon visits was purely financial—I needed a cost-effective alternative. Finding a glue that could deliver professional results was essential, and Curve Glue exceeded every expectation. This isn't just a nail glue; it’s a robust bonding agent that truly simplifies the DIY manicure process without compromising on strength. Ease of Application: Simplified Perfection My primary concern as a beginner was the complexity of application, but Curve Glue made the process incredibly smooth and quick. The application time was minimal, which is a massive plus for anyone starting out. I meticulously followed a four-step preparation process, which I believe contributed significantly to the flawless adhesion: Prep: Treated my cuticles and ensured a clean base. Texture: Gently roughed up the natural nail surface with a nail file. Cleanse: Used an alcohol wipe to remove any lingering oils or residue. Application: Applied a very thin layer of Curve Glue across the entire nail surface. I then firmly pressed the press-on nail piece onto my natural nail for about 15 seconds until it was securely fixed. The directions also suggested two crucial precautions: avoiding contact with water for at least 30 minutes post-application, and quickly wiping away any excess spillage with a napkin. Following these simple steps guaranteed a perfect start. Performance Under Pressure: The Extreme Durability Test Where Curve Glue truly shines is its incredible durability. I am notoriously rough on my hands; they are constantly exposed to water due to cooking, cleaning, and frequent hand washing. On top of that, I regularly spend time gardening. I expected to see at least one nail lift or loosen within the first few days, but that was not the case. These nails are completely secure. The ultimate test came unexpectedly: I accidentally smashed my thumb into a chair with significant force. In any previous scenario, I would have expected to break the press-on and likely damage my natural nail, but the nail piece did not break, loosen, or lift even slightly. The integrity of the bond remained completely intact. Longevity: Over a Week and Still Flawless I have been wearing this set for a week and a half now, and they look exactly as if I just applied them this morning. There is zero loosening, lifting, or breakage across any of the nails. The hold is exceptional, confirming that Curve Glue is built to last through rigorous daily activity. Having press-on nails has not required me to modify my routine whatsoever. The Final Verdict: Cost-Effective and Secure Curve Glue is a fantastic product that offers professional, long-lasting results at a fraction of the cost of a salon visit. It takes the guesswork out of DIY press-ons, providing a secure, reliable, and strong hold even for those who are hard on their hands. If you are looking for a highly durable, cost-effective nail glue that simplifies the application process while providing extreme longevity, look no further. Curve Glue makes beautiful, secure nail application simplified. I highly recommend this product to both beginners and those seeking maximum durability. ... show more

  • Solid glue choice that's long lasting and durable
Bought this on a whim looking for nail glue that wouldn't lift after a few days. The gel style makes it very easy to control and goes a long way. I prepped my nail only by using cuticle remover and dehydrating the nail. With this formula it's really easy to get the glue riiiight up to the eponychium and the free edge. A very thin layer from edge to edge of the natural nail did not dry before putting the nail on, and I was able to place the nail and press for about 5-10 seconds, smoothing to make sure all surfaces made contact. I haven't had any issues with lifting and have even banged my nails into items and had them still stay on. Minus one star because the "remover" is literally just acetone. But a giant bottle and a dropper for cheaper lol. But the lifting and placing remover underneath for a few seconds then wiggling the nail and repeating if necessary works like a charm with no nail damage or residue afterwards, so I'm sold! It'd a highly effective glue if you apply it properly. ... show more

  • Reliable Nail Glue That Lasts
This nail glue works really well and provides a strong hold. It dries quickly, is easy to apply, and helps keep my press-on nails secure for days. The application is mess-free, and a little goes a long way. I’m very happy with the performance and would purchase it again.

  • The BEST nail glue I’ve ever used!!!
This glue is by far the BEST glue I’ve ever used! I have used this glue for about 4 months now. I wash my hands a lot since working with kids. After taking a shower, washing my hair and face at least 2x daily, this glue by far reaches beyond my expectations. I’m actually amazed how well it holds up with how much my hands are in and out of water on a daily basis. I’ve never used a nail glue that works this well with how much my hands are in and out of water. It’s easy to use, it’s clear in color and dry’s extremely fast. If you are looking for a product that can stand up to water and everyday use, this is it. On average when I do my nails they stay on at least 3 weeks. Every once in a while I will have to reapply nail glue to at least 2 of my nails before completely removing all of my nails and reapplying another set. Hands down a phenomenal nail glue I’ve ever used. ... show more

  • Should give you a bigger tube for the cost.
Nice quality product. A bit small of a tube for the money, that is one major thing that made me give it the stats I did. Worked great on my fake nails and some jewelry I placed on them. Very strong and holds in place for days. Dries very fast. Very easy to use if you follow the directions. PROS - glue keeps nails in place for nearly 2-weeks - works great on fake nails - works great for decorations - very strong glue - easy to use - dries very fast CONS - very small tube for the price - can be messy - wont hold if nails are not prepped properly - will dry in tube if not closed tightly ... show more

  • Excellent for DIY press on nails! Save your money, make beautiful gel nails at home. Excellent for DIY press on nails! Save your money, make beautiful gel nails at home.
I'm tired of dropping $150 at the nail salon, particularly since it has become nearly impossible to find a nail tech whose work is worth what I'm paying for it. I taught myself how to do Gel-X nails at home, but it is VERY time consuming for me, especially trying to apply the nails correctly to my dominant hand. I was putting a whole day into my mani--also not working for me. I had been avoiding doing press-ons because of the damage the glue does to my natural nails. Then I found Curvlife. First the glue: Pros Thick but not too thick. It doesn't run but is very easy to spread Quality. My nails stayed put for the two weeks I wanted to wear them, but did not appear to be going anywhere when I decided to take them off. I'm nearly positive I could have worn them for another week or two. Dry time. This is a delicate balance done well by Curvlife. If it dries too fast you can wind up with crooked nails that are stuck and a lot of hassle getting it off, creating a new nail, etc. If it dries too slowly you will think you have it placed, let go and it will move creating the same issues of a crooked nail and a lot of hassle. This glue gave me enough time to spread it and place the nail correctly. Hold it in place for 10 seconds and it's set. Color: it remained clear for the entire time I wore the nails. No yellowing. Tube didn't leak. It comes in a ziplock bag, which is how I'm storing it. I took this on a trip in case I had to replace any nails. I didn't, but not a single drop leaked out in the bag. Cons Didn't find any so far. The Remover: I watched a number of YouTube videos on removing press on nails before ever deciding to apply them. Once I was pretty sure I would use the Curvlife glue I started looking for videos specifically about the Curvlife removal. The reviews were not positive. Many people showed soaking their hands in a mixture of water, soap, and oil to get their nails off and it was still work. Today was the first time I took a set of nails off, and I did so with just the Curvlife remover; no soaking. It was really easy and went well. Remover Pros: Didn't irritate my skin Didn't damage my natural nails Didn't damage the polish on the press-on nails. I don't wear my sets twice, but with this you probably could if you know how to make that work. Press-ons came off pretty easily. The whole process took about 15 minutes for both hands. Cons: The tube used in this particular set is not the right design. I'm planning to purchase the stand-alone bottle of this Curvlife remover. Once I've used some of it I will empty this tube into that bottle. This is a thin liquid and needs a long skinny "needle" dispenser to deposit the remover only where you need it. This tube opening is too big. It wasn't awful, but I felt like I wasted quite a bit. Still a good inexpensive way to try it. This remover doesn't make the nails just fall off. You have to work the process. It does a great job of softening the glue so you can work it off with an orangewood stick or cuticle tool. How easily they come off is also going to depend on how much glue you used when applying them and a little on how long you've had them on. It's important to remember that much of how long they stay on is reliant upon how well you prepped your natural nail bed. If you don't prep well by getting all the dead skin, old glue, etc. off your natural nail they don't adhere well. Also, make sure you use the right size tip for each of your nail beds. Take the time picking the size that is closest for each nail. Don't assume the same nail on the other hand will take the same size tip. Many of mine are different on left and right. File the back and side edges when needed to make them fit your specific nail bed shape just right. If the nail tip isn't just the right size for your nail bed, it will lift and pop off no matter how much glue you use. If you do these steps, you don't need a ton of glue to make them last. Too much glue is what makes them so hard to remove and does not necessarily make them last longer. The glue should be a thin EVEN coat. I found putting a little on my nail bed and a little on the the underside of the tip, then sliding the nail tip from my cuticle down to the free edge before placing it worked great and kept from having a ton of dried glue that squished out the free edge from using too much. I had one nail that was taking a long time to remove so after working on it with the remover and orange wood stick for a few minutes, I took a piece of dental floss and slipped that under the back edge of the nail tip, grabbed the two ends with my other hand and gently tugged on the floss. It slid right underneath the nail tip easily and it popped right off. I will be using that trick on all my nails next time I take them off. It is important to use gel nail tips that are not sculpted. You want full coverage tips for flat nail beds even if yours aren't. Sculpted tips are made to be applied with thick gel. The first set I painted were done with my Apres sculpted coffin short tips. I was not able to glue them on because the curve of the sculpted nail tip left an air gap since the glue is much thinner than the Apres Extend Gel and the tip itself is thicker and not flexible. I wound up buying much cheaper, thinner gel x tips that are specifically made to be thinner at the cuticle edge so it is flexible and looks more natural. They were perfect for press-ons. To protect my natural nail bed a bit more, I used a thin coat of gel base coat cured for 30 seconds on each nail between my nail bed and the glue. A have a cordless flash cure lamp so I don't stick my whole hand in the big cure lamp each time. I do one nail at time, using the flash cure handheld to cure the base coat, then glue the nail on. This gave my natural nails a layer of protection without creating bulk or the need for acetone to remove. Acetone is terrible for your natural nails and your cuticles. I don't use it anymore. After removing the nails you can easily get rid of the layer of base coat with a fine grit nail file. 180 to 220 grit is best. I used 200 grit and it came off very easily without roughing up my nail bed. I highly recommend both the Curvlife glue and the remover, though I recommend buying them separately so you get the better tip shape on the remover bottle. My nails looked beautiful for weeks and this was the easiest method I have found to have beautiful "gel-x" nails for just the cost of the supplies. I can take my time creating sets at my leisure so doing my nails is about 20 or 30 minutes and they last for weeks. ... show more

  • Best Glue Byfar! Best Glue Byfar!
I used this glue together with a set of BTArtbox soft gel nails and today is day 10 (pictured) and only the pointer finger nail on my fight hand popped off after I reached for something and it snagged. My natural nail looked no worse than when I applied the press ons. I used the remover to take off some of the old glue and reapplied the popped off nail. The remover actually works really well and looks like it prevents damage to the natural nail. After reapplying, it feels just as strong as when I put it on the first day. I’m a flight attendant an a Sugarist (organic waxer), both jobs involve a lot of use of my hands. As a flight attendant opening and closing latches and doors, pushing and pulling 50lbs+ carts, etc. As a sugarist, the application of the sugar paste to the skin involves a lot of pressure against the finger nails and with this glue, they held up extremely well. The drying time was pretty quick and I followed the instructions not to wet them for at least 1 hr after applying. I didn’t notice any whitening or bubbling after the glue dried, but you do have to be careful when pressing to the natural nail as extra glue will cause spillage. The included cuticle stick did help remove excess glue. Application was straight forward and when I was done my nails looked like I had them done in the salon. Waiting to see how long before another nail pops off or until I decide to change nail designs. So far 100/10. ... show more

  • This glue is strong and good
Omg. This glue is no joke lol. I typically use Kiss glue. But this time I got some press ons from tiktok so I wanted them to last 2 weeks plus. One nail chipped so I attempted to took off all my nails. At least I thought I was gonna take off all my nails like I do with kiss glue! I could not take them off. I had to soak in soap, warm water and oil. For like 1hr, then when they finally got soft enough to lift, I put remover in the inside and then I clipped them down the next day. I started to lift more around the edges, it took me a day and a half. Not consistently, but I kept trying throughout the day. This glue is no joke. I may have put too much on lol. It could be that it was a fresh set of glue, but I can tell you that it’s much stronger than your typical over-the-counter glue so be careful with application a little goal among way. The next time I use it, I’ll have a sturdier acrylic nail and update on longevity. ... show more
