I think it holds really well. The item its holding is about the size of a smaller iPad. But my device is probably closer to a 1/2 " thick. . Anyway, while driving you can barely see any shaking ot vibration considering the weight that it's holding. My keys were in the house so I. Video hood through the window. But I think the picture is clear enough to see that the clamp itself is too shallow for the device while it holds it really well. This was definitely a necessity for me, I spend a lot of time working out of the truck and this helped using the iPad and typing things out a lot easier. It helps declutter the center counsel and make the iPad have easy access. The stand is very sturdy and easy to assemble and use. It fits perfectly in the cup holder without any issues because it has the adjustable locking feature that secures it in the cup holder. It works well with my large iPad and the stand itself isn’t really bulky and doesn’t take up much space. Good product but needs to be better

Seems solid but two things the person i got this for did not like. The tablet clamp is too strong to open by someone who is elderly especially of they have arthritis. The particular tablet this was purchased for has a case and this makes it impossible to attach the tablet to this mount. Wish it had the ratcheting system some other mounts have, you press a button and the holder opens up. Other than that it seems sturdy. Broke in under a year

Been using this in my work vehicle for my Samsung Tablet for the last 9 months. Noticed it has been getting more and more wobbly. Tonight, after hitting a bump, the arm broke off the base. There isnt actually much plastic there so for heavier tablets, it may not be a good choice.
