I've been an IBS sufferer for pretty much as long as I can remember. I think my irregular poops started when I was a teen, where I would fluctuate from constipation to diarrhea and back again over and over and over again. I couldn't really remember what it was like to be "regular." I also had a childhood where I was constantly prescribed antibiotics for whatever ailed me. Good intentions, but perhaps with an unintended side effect: my gut was really out of whack. As an adult, when prescribed antibiotics, I would be doubled over in pain. I would take Culturelle to get me back to "normal," although that wasn't saying much because my normal still wasn't that great. It always worked well and my pain went away quickly after I started taking it. I also have experimented with taking other kinds of probiotics over the years and have been good about eating my fermented foods (yogurt, pickles, etc) but they never made too much of a difference. A few months ago, I decided to incorporate Culturelle as part of my daily vitamin routine. I must have read another article about how important your microbiome is to.... well, pretty much everything. So I decided to give it a go. After a few weeks, I didn't notice too much difference. It wasn't the immediate relief that I had experienced after taking antibiotics. But then, I also noticed that I was sleeping a bit better. I wasn't having the gas and bloating that I would routinely experience. Two months later, I am extraordinarily regular. I have a poop every morning at the same exact time. Weirdly enough, I actually look forward to it! I'm in and out of the bathroom in no time. It's truly like a miracle. I honestly never, ever thought that I would be regular again. I will continue to take Culturelle and tend to my microbiome and if you have been suffering with IBS, I'd say, try out Culturelle as part of your daily vitamin routine and see if it makes a difference! ... show more

OMG...I’ve received the Culturelle DailyProbiotic Digestive Health Capsules ( I had purchased 2 of them). I have been taking these for the past year and a half and they work great without any problems. I give the Culturelle a big thumbs up and thank my sister in law who has been taking these for years in helping her go. I’ve order on 1/07/21 and received them today 1/8/21, plus I received a text from Amazon driver to where I would like the package to be put at my residence so I texted back then within 1 minute my dog gave me notice that someone is at the door. Upon opening the door....there is my package. That’s what I call Fast, Speedy Delivery. Thank you very much and I sure will be continuing to use your services from now on for I thought I’d have to wait at least 3 to 4 days to go without my Culturelle Daily Probiotic Digestive Capsules plus they’re easy to swallow too. Works fast. I take them every morning. Yes I’d recommend anyone to try these. I’ve always had problems going, and tried many meds to no avail. If you suffer from upset stomachs when travelling like I do or if you even have IBS, take Culturelle until your gut is healthy and cut out processed wheat noodles like Ramen noodles and check if you are lactos intolerant...If you drink a glass of milk and your stomach goes bad that day or the next day your stomach probably has stopped producing lactase, a needed enzyme to break down lactose sugar that comes from cow's milk and you will need to take a lactase enzyme supplement anytime before you drink milk or eat ice cream. I found that my triggers were lactose in milk. Asians in particular do not produce the lactase enzyme as they get older. We need the lactase enzyme produced in our gut to digest the lactose sugar in cows milk. If you are lactose intolerant, take a lactase tablet right BEFORE you eat any ice cream or heavy milk items including a lot of battered and fried items are made with buttermilk... Second trigger: overly processed wheat. If you have stomach issues, cut out Ramen noodles immediately from your diet! The wheat is highly processed and GMO. Try buying Darum wheat or non-gmo wheat items. ... show more

Let's be honest. We all know what this product is for. I was having issues with my bowel movements being too loose and the doctor recommended I try a major brand of Fiber supplement. He instructed me to take 4 capsules a day, and I did for just over a month. I was miserable. My regularity was way off and I had cramping and bloating so bad it would wake me in the middle of the night. Later on I saw a different doctor and he suggested taking a probiotic to help. I researched many and settled on Culturelle Daily Probiotic. I quit taking the fiber supplement and then started taking Culturelle. The first two days were kind of rough and I experienced a little leakage, so I would recommend staying near the facilities. However, I decided to stick it out, and I'm so glad I did. All the discomfort went away, I began having consistent regularity (1 or two times a day only), and my stool became more solid, solving my bathroom issues. It's simple and convenient to take the pill, and I have one every day after breakfast. Everything has been going great since. Yes the name brand is cheaper on here than in the store but I hate have to bust them out of the foil pack. Some of the generic come in a bottle
