This is the first time that I ordered a trellis. Normally I build it myself from scrap wood and string. This particular trellis kit has everything you need for shorter plants/vegetables. There are 4 green metal panels that can be connected to form a larger "wall" or you can join 2 vertically or horizontally. The panels can also be arranged like a tent and secured into the ground. I decided to use 2 panels horizontally joined on the long edge and hung them from the eave of my roof in the back yard. I had leftover chain and other hanging parts from hummingbird feeder kits. I have 4 bush type cucumber plants trellising up the panels now. I can always add more panels should I need to extend the width or height. For now, the 2 panels should be sufficient. There are 4' U-shaped stakes to secure the panels in the ground if you go that route. The included plant ties are great. There is a roll of vinyl wrapped small gauge wire, plant clips, and zip tie sort of ties. I checked on line and I can find the "chip clip" looking clips which I really like. There are 2 sizes included. I think this is a good trellis kit for most people.

Putting this trellis together was a breeze using the included springs. It is perfectly suited for cucumbers, peas, etc. but is also highly versatile and can be used for anything that would benefit from a garden trellis. I am currently using the panels to support some native, pollinator species I am propagating. Depending on your needs, you can assemble as pictured (one large trellis with all sections connected), use as two separate standalone trellises, or use your imagination! The weatherproof finish on the trellis should keep the panels looking good for several years. I am very pleased with the sturdiness of the panels and the included accessories which I will put to good use.

Size: 46''H*36'W Price: $59.99 Material: Steel This is exactly what I needed to run the vines of my beans and cucumber plants. It comes with four panels and can be mix-matched in a few different styles to create the shaped trellis to fit your needs. I chose to only assemble two panels together in the shave of an upside down "V" so that I have two smaller trellises, one for each vegetable. It comes with all the brackets you need for the different type shapes/styles. Assemble is pretty simple and basic. It only takes minutes to put together. The quality of the metal is good. I placed these over raised gardens, so my soil was soft... but it seems sturdy enough to stab into normal ground garden. I have to take off one star for pricing, as there are several options readily available online with comparable quality and size for much less cost.

This trellis is very sturdy and I expect it to last a lifetime. This is no flimsy tomato stake where the soldered joints will fail and it rusts after a few years. This one will also hold a lot of weight. It is worth the investment. It required almost no assembly. It fold and unfolds, and can be stored in the winter in a space saving way. I got hte one with the large grid and it is possible that the grid is too large – probably not. Even if it is, the plants can be trained to move upward, or you can lay something over it that the vines can easily cling to.

Nice narrow set up for cucumbers or vines... ...my raised beds are just shy of 4 ft. so a lot of the trellises are too wide. These are a great size to add to those beds.

I got these to add to my garden, and provide a bit more climbing surface. I actually used them for a few other things, first, like holding a backpack while I sprayed it with pyrethrin (and while it dried) before a comping trip. Eventually, I did put them in the garden, and they seem like they will suit their intended purpose well. Btw, I say "they" because you can actually use this as two smaller trellises, or as one big one.

I would have given it 5 stars but it came hinged on the long edge not the short so it I had to try to dissable where it was attached and re attch so it hinged at the short side as shown in the picture. other than that it's great.

This is a good quality garden trellis. I wish it had come with some sort of diagram on how to put it together, but I worked it out just by looking at the seller's images. The main thing is that you have to thread 4 springs onto the sections to put them together--the springs become "hinges." It's actually four sections, so you wind up with two trellises, in effect. Once they are in the ground, they stay open to the angle you put them at -- they are very sturdy. The fact that you can fold them up will be handy for storage in the winter. The extras it comes with such as the clips and the roll of twist tie wire, will be be very useful when the plants start to come in.
