This trellis has much to recommend it. Pros 1. it is a very generously-sized infrastructure. My husband who is 6 feet tall is next to it in the photo, and you can see it is almost as tall as him. 2. It’s a little light which makes it very maneuverable, but I’d push the ends down into the soil to hold the trellis steady. 3. It folds away to almost nothing for storage. 4. It appears to be plastic-coated metal, meaning it will be sturdy, while also not rusting. 5. The U-shaped design means you can have plants climbing the front and back of it, while still having a little space for air circulation or for plants to get a little bushy. Cons 1. Minimal instructions. 2. You have to push the tubes hard into the plastic couplers. This takes a good bit of strength to do properly. My arthritic hands could not do it. Even my husband who is crazy strong said that it took effort. 3. It’s not difficult to put together (apart from the strength thing), but assembly is a little fiddly and takes a minute.

Assembly is pretty easy and is fairly sturdy. The size is accurate per the listing. We plan to leave this outdoors all year long for concord grapes and it seems like it will work just fine.

The trellis was very easy to assemble. One person can set it up in 10 minutes. It isn't heavy, so it can be moved after assembly. The size is as described. I am 5’2" and the trellis is about the same height as me. I rate it 4 stars because we live in a windy area, and the end pieces tend to detach. Because of that, I’m unsure how it would hold up if weighed down in strong wind.

I got this for my teen son who's the family gardener --by choice. He was tremendously pleased when he saw what I had ordered for him. He started to explore the box. At first he said, "oh plastic.". and then he realized with excitement that "It's metal!" It's true that the main pools that go through the structure look like the plastic. They appear to be wrapped or dipped in something that is plastic, but when he pick them up and look at them, he realize they are indeed metal. And not overly thin metal either. Not as thick as massive structures, of course, but to grow cucumbers beans, flowers, or a variety of other things... these will be wonderful. Because it's winter, and we get snow, r came set it up. I've inspected it and have taken photos. This is a quality product that is well thought out, and if you love gardening, them then this will add a wonderful element of joy to your experience. I like to consider other options for the products that I that to help shoppers like me. I'm an artist and like to think outside of the box... S thought I just had was that this could also make a really good balloon display for kids to run around under at a wedding or party. I know it's random.. but I'm also photographer and I'm always looking for fun things to set up. It's just an idea, and obviously balloons are not what this was intended for. But it is something that's possible when it's snowing outside! ;) Whatever you decide to use this for, I think you'll really appreciate i!
