Have been trying to find a reasonable priced velvet drapes. These are darker then I wanted. I like a very dark bedroom and these work. Nice and heavy so they hang nicely. These are room darkening not blackout. There is no lining. Color is rather strange. Dark peachy,or a weird pink. Luckily have vintage fabric with this color for a duvet cover. ... show more

To be fair I did not buy these thinking they would be blackout thickness. The velvet is lovely and soft and looks great. They hang well and have held up fine even though my demon cat has tried to climb them a few times. However they are sort of thin and let some light through even when closed. It’s not a deal breaker for me, they’re in my office so they don’t need to block all of it, but it’s worth considering. ... show more

These drapes are rich looking, feel great and can provide a variety of uses. I use them on a drafty window during the winter and they are heavy enough to block a lot of cold air. They also help muffle noise. Very nice, easy to use with a tension curtain rod. Heavy enough to do the job but light enough to work with the temporary rods. Checked all the boxes for me. Very nice. They are heavier than I thought which is wonderful. The fabric is really very nice. They hang beautiful. I will buy again in another color. The dark green is so rich and expensive looking.

The media could not be loaded. I was looking for a very long time to find a high-quality velvet drape at a good price that was in dark green and not a turquoise light green color. These are perfect would definitely buy again.
