I was skepticle that velvet curtains would look good in my theater room, but these really give my room a high end look. Also the sun hits hard on the windows in that room, but I did not want zero light. These curtains are amazing, in difusing the light by approximatly 80 % which gives us a great ambiance in that room. They are also thick and somewhat heavy which is helping keep heat in that room. I am sure it will do the oppisite in the summer when I run the air conditioner. I would buy them again. ... show more

I purchased the Dusty Rose color, 96-inch length. They are defiantly room darkening. They are heavy and well made. Due to the weight of each panel, I recommend a 1-inch heavy duty rod. Especially if you intend to open and close them often. They Wash and dry well. I decided to iron them on the underside, rather than to use a steamer. These are more elegant than I had hoped. The color matches my room perfectly. Gorgeous luxurious fabric. I ended up using 4 panels on my sliding door and 2 panels on my window. The floor to ceiling look is exactly what I was going for with a romantic vibe. Highly recommend!

I love these curtains. They hang well, look great, fabric and colors are spot on. I am a repeat customer of these, using in a couple of rooms. They are pretty good light filtering, but not a blackout level. They wash well.

To be fair I did not buy these thinking they would be blackout thickness. The velvet is lovely and soft and looks great. They hang well and have held up fine even though my demon cat has tried to climb them a few times. However they are sort of thin and let some light through even when closed. It’s not a deal breaker for me, they’re in my office so they don’t need to block all of it, but it’s worth considering. ... show more

I actually like the curtains better in person then in the pictures. The curtains do look better in person really soft material like swayed its very beautiful but I guess it all depends on what you are looking for but honestly this product exceeded my expectations.
