I bought the pink/ black& white check wanting to wear it with the black/white check out and the pink as an accent. However the snaps are only set up to work pink side out and the pocket is only on the pink side. The Leash attachment works either side. It is very soft and is as pictured. I have a 10# toy poodle that you’d think wasn’t that heavy until you put her in a sling like this on your shoulder. The shoulder strap doesn’t dig into your shoulder because it is wider, but because it is concentrated in that area, it gets hard on your neck. I think if something like this was in a back pack design where the weight was evenly dispersed between both shoulders, it would be more comfortable. The other problem I have is getting my dog to sit in this. She usually ends up laying back like a baby. I still need to practice with her. It's hard to keep my weiner dog in it since he can stand up in it and it's not actually long enough for him because of the way it sits when on my shoulder. He has to be held while in it, but I still use it since he's stubborn on walks and needs to be carried a distance anyway, so it supports me in that. ... show more

I’m still having trust issues with the metal “belt loop.” It friction fits. It’s just me though. Petie absolutely loves it. I bought it mainly for winter. He’s always cold. And, I’m finishing up my last year of school. If I don’t hold him he just keeps whining lol Typing on a computer is a pain!

My dog is attached to me and I sometimes feel bad with all the walking she has to do to keep up. This was a great buy! She’s very comfy and content hanging out in here and being with me. I only wish it was adjustable so I would raise it a little higher!

    • Works great but starts to pill up after the first wash

Very comfortable and my dog loves it but it started to get those little pilled up pieces of fuzz after just one wash so I’ve been using a pill shaver every time but don’t know how long it’s going to look good.
