I've been looking for a desk of this style in my price range for a long time. It's a good desk. I don't think that the wooden top is solid wood but instead is laminated. It's finished very nicely even on the sides and feels as hard as hardwood. The staining looks very nice. The steel parts are all cut exactly, finished properly with no burs and painted evenly. The hardware connecting it all together is good quality. The bolts are thicker than some might think necessary and when tightened make very secure connections. Each piece assembled looks permanently joined with no spaces between. There are even short struts joining some of the corners that add even more stability. I only have one problem with this desk. Of the 4 struts included one could not be attached because somewhere in the manufacturing process a step was missed and there was nowhere for me to put the bolt. I thought I assembled it wrong but all the parts are clearly labeled and the instructions are clear. The desk can honestly function just fine without one strut but I drilled a through hole anyway and added a little hardware. Even with the one mistake I still think this desk is an extremely good value. It will definitely support more than a hundred pounds. I stood on it to be sure, just not in the middle where there are no legs. This was before I fixed the strut. I'd include pictures of my assembled desk but my lighting is not great and honestly it looks no different from the pictures in the listing. What you see is what you get with this. There's no keyboard drawer but I don't use one anyway. I think it would be quite easy to install one and worth doing if you like everything else about this desk. You would only need to attach some wood or steel on the underside between the front and back of the frame and attach the drawer to that.

It was bought to upgrade a previous desk, it fits well on a small room and has adequate storage. However, it thought it would be wider. Maybe it is just that I didn’t make the correct selection. Other than that it was a great buy.

Honestly, I’m so happy with this desk, it suits exactly the image I had in mind when I went looking for one. I was a bit worried I’d be annoyed by the seams where the desktop pieces all rest against one another, but once assembled I took one look and fell in love with the desk’s appearance. It’s charming, a bit industrial, and doesn’t become overbearing in the small space it’s in. As long as the assembler is SURE they tighten all screws ONLY partway during the process. Everything settles together perfectly when it’s freestanding and everything tightens fully. The bookshelf is extremely handy for reference materials and held more than I originally imagined. The print is pleasing, the metal is sturdy, and the pieces were all in excellent condition after shipping. I will note that many of the label stickers fell off in the box and while arranging for assembly—but none of them were difficult to identify thanks to the clear, simple instructions included. I’m an extremely ‘I will not ask for help if it’s not COMPLETELY necessary’ person. I managed to get this desk together on my own—though the process probably would’ve been entirely painless with a second set of hands. Either way, if you’re confident with a hex key and have patience, this is an easy build.

I love the desk. The desk color doesn't look cheap, and seems to be of a water resistant material. I like the fake grooves that give the material a realistic wood look and doesn't imitate shiny Formica. I like the shape of the desk, specifically the metal frame, because it gives my tower enough space to be against. I personally enjoy putting my tower there because it doubles as a foot rest, has a window to see the RGB lighting and is meant to be in that placement, but this desk will not be for you if your tower is meant to be on the desk or meant to face you, unless your computer monitor is not bulky and you don't need a lot of desk space for multitasking purposes. Double monitor people: you should probably get a desk riser to avoid taking away usability of the desk. Easy to cable manage (although I personally left that to my best friend to do for me). (he built the desk too. so idk how simple it was to do). All the pieces were there for construction so no problems there either. I would suggest building between two people because you need to hold the pieces together to get it seamless. If you're alone, you can manage to build it properly still with a little elbow grease. I like the shelves. They look good. cons: metal frame is really thin so if you use a screw driver be gentle or you could break the metal, dent it, etc.
