This is a very good desk. It only took an hour to put together. It is much easier putting it together with a second person as you need to hold parts in place while screwing them together, I think I could do it by myself, but it would take longer. I had to push and pull, especially the surface piece, to line up the holes but there was no issues once it was lined up. The little wrench that came with it held up fine for all the screws. The instructions were very clear to me, the parts were all clearly labelled, and they corresponded clearly with each step. The packet that all the little different screws came in were numbered as well, and that corresponded to what was numbered in the instructions for each step. I'm happy with this purchase. The item is as pictured and although it suggests a two-person assembly, I was able to do it by myself in a few hours. Everything needed to assemble was provided and conveniently labeled, instructions were easy to follow. This isn't the sturdiest of desks. I only recently started working from home after years spent in an office cube (floor mats, thin carpet, desks attached to cube walls, etc.). At home, I have thick carpet. I often find myself trying to use the desk as a brace to pull myself (in my chair) forward and often times the desk bends toward me rather than me going toward the desk. Hard habits are hard to break! I will likely get a floor mat so my chair rolls easier. When adjusting the desk's location, I have to lift and move each end separately to avoid the legs from bending. If you are a heavy handed person, lean on your desk or generally are a rough person, this desk isn't for you. The desk is long and provides a nice workspace but the black attracts fingerprints, smudges, etc. If you eat at your desk like I do, keep something handy to wipe down your workspace. ... show more

Was relatively easy to assemble. Instructions could’ve been better. I purchased two desks (63 inches) (not shown) and one is less sturdy because because I flipped it so both the browns can meet in the middle. I’m fine with this, however. My husband’s computer tower (not pictured) didn’t fit in the side compartment. To be fair, it’s a big tower. ... show more

I purchased this desk because I needed an additional desk in order to work remotely. I had one but it was a little bit too small I needed something to comfortably hold two monitors and other supplies. I have a much nicer desk that is my regular desk/gaming desk, and then I put this one to the side to form an L shape.. It created two separate stations, one for home and one for work. My set up has worked out great. This desk is very sturdy I like the shelves on the right. The desk is good for working remotely, a general home desk, or even a gaming desk. I assembled some 5-6 items in the last week and this was one of the most difficult of all the others. Instructions are good however pay attention at all times at where the metal bar supporting the desk legs are and also where the 2 brackets are - to ensure you are successful from the first time. It took me a bit longer purely because I did not pay attention to the above 2 pieces of information from above and I could have left the desk as it was however I wanted to look like in the pictures. I guess my husband appreciates this - he is very fussy about everything normally. ... show more

When I screwed the largest desk top piece onto the frame it cracked. So far it seems functional but I don't know if it will last.

Assembly was by far one of the easiest things to assemble. Really spacious and sturdy. Would be nice if it had drawers or something, but other than that, it's just amazing, I don't know what else to say lmao.
