The silicone bumper guard is a useful addition to the MXS 5.0 charger - provides that added bit of protection and keeps it from sliding/scraping around when I'm attaching cables. Only 4/5 stars as I think it should be included with the charger to begin with.

I questioned whether I needed this protector. But the 2nd time I used it was for our other car outside. The charger ended up on the driveway extending the cord to reach the battery. I picked it up and was glad to see no scratches on the charger. At that moment I was glad I had it on the charger.
