Honestly, these are probably the best athletic shorts you can buy on Amazon. The quality is really great. It’s lightweight, but not super thin and wrinkly as you would find on so many other products on Amazon. These actually feel like they won’t rip, tear, or have your phone/wallet fly around in the pockets. I will say the only thing that kept these from being perfect for me is if the draw string was in the inside instead of outside. The company says in the description you can reverse it, but one problem… they sewed the middle. So at least the string is stuck and won’t go missing. It’s funny because there are holes on the inside for the string.

These shorts fit well, are comfortable, and the pockets are quite nice and hold heavier items well enough for me. I hate the lulu lemon comparison though. I own both pairs of shorts and have worn the lulu lemons over the past year and half while having these shorts for about a month. Through multiple wears of these I can tell you there is a noticeable difference for me in comfort, thickness, pocket quality, material, and how the shorts ride up on me. I love the lulu lemon shorts and in a perfect world would buy only those. The only problem is they’re over twice as much as these shorts. Conclusively these are a great pair of shorts that serve well and are worth the money. Objectively, I enjoy the lulu lemon shorts significantly more but when factoring cost relative to quality I give both shorts 5 stars and am glad to own and use both. I am interested in long term quality of these because my lulu Lemons have been through the wash 20+ times and look great with no frays or discoloration.

My wife loves the brand that this brand keeps getting compared to. I'm not going to make that comparison because I don't feel it's fair. For the price, these shorts are fantastic and you are going to get great quality. If you want great quality and want to save a few bucks, you can't go wrong here.

Superior fit, comfort, and style!! Breathable and fast drying. Thin, but not too thin. No liner, which is good. I have purchased 7 of these shorts in the 5" and 7" lengths and wear them all the time -- around the house, to the gym, and even when going out. So far, they have held up (2 months). As someone who wears shorts year-round, these are easily my new go-to shorts.
