The tongs were just what I expected when I ordered. The end portion is of course for pinching. Both sides of the tongs meet perfectly to make a secure pinch of the crucible.

Beyond flimsy, starts bending when I try to lift a mid-size crucible. What a waste. Maybe I can at least melt them down when I get a set of decent tongs.
