I like these. I am a short woman, size 5.5 work boots. I spend 8-10 hours a day hauling brush on very steep forest terrain, so I have to keep my boots laced tight to protect my ankles from rolling. This creates pressure point pain on my ankles from the boot lace hooks and even the boot tongue, no matter what kind of boots I buy. I put these sleeves on over my socks, stretch them around to adjust the gel pads so they are right where I want them, and they don't move all day. They don't shift or bunch up or create any annoying wrinkles. This is because the gel circles are not encased inside the nylon sleeve, just somehow glued on, so the circles basically "stick" to your sock. Once you lace up, nothing moves! I was worried the bands at the top and bottom of the sleeve would be too tight, but I can't feel them at all. They are very stretchy and will fit differently on a taller person, you will probably not have them showing above your boot top or as far down the sole of your foot as shown in my picture.

They worked amazing at first but after my feet started to sweat after ice skating for a bit it felt like the sock part was slipping and made it uncomfortable to skate. I ordered just the gel circle from the same brand and put it in my tights and it works great but towards the end of practice they start to slip. LOVE them regardless, has saved my ankle pain.

The product provided exactly what I was looking for. I’m breaking in a new pair of figure skates and my ankles were sore. These took my focus off my ankles and back to my performance. Highly recommend. Well made. Fit well. I’m a size 7.5 shoe. Didn’t move or scrunch up in my boot. I did wear them over my skate knee high socks, which are very thin. No rubbing.

I work out w/ my Kangoo boots almost every day. I was getting an annoying cut on my ankle where it was rubbing and band-aids were not enough. They were not thick enough, and would slide off. It really hurts when that one spot keeps getting torn. These are the perfect solution! It's basically a thick double layered stocking with a silicone thing sewn in. It's a simple concept and works brilliantly. I have used one pair day in and out. I even put them through the washer and still going strong. They stay in one place too, as you see they have the elastic piece so it does not migrate. And I am bouncing around for a solid hour. I will get another set. If you wear a similar type of boot for skiing/snowboarding, roller sports, ice skating etc they are amazing.

When ordering a gel sleeve from Amazon in the recent past, a full gel sleeve, which I am still wearing and enjoying, I found that I could not locate the same product again and gave the CRS Cross Ankle Malleolar Gel Sleeves a chance. Again, not as expected. Would like the gel sleeves that I ordered prior to return. They are full gel sleeves, the entire sleeves are gelled, and work just perfect. Bring them back. Thank you.
