This frame is a great gift. The picture rests between two pieces of glass. Three plastic tubes keep the glass pressed together. The instructions say to remove the tubes with a small tube, but I used a plain #2 pencil. It comes with tape to hold the picture in place, but I did not need it. The adjustable arm stays steady at any angle, so I do not worry about it slipping or falling over.

Just what I wanted for my shelf. It holds several sizes for photos and has the floating effect with double pane glass in a black metal frame. I got the one that stands horizontally, so make sure you want to use it for a wider photo. Otherwise get the vertical one. The back stand holds it tightly in place so it won't fall. Very pleased with the quality.

I love the way these frames make photos look like they’re suspended/floating between the two panes of glass. The only problem is that, due to the way the back piece props up the frame, you can only use the frame horizontally. If you try to set the frame down vertically, the back piece won’t prop it up securely enough and the frame can easily fall and break.
