    • Beautiful - even with no Duvet!

I absolutely love this Duvet Cover! It has exceeded my expectations! I already have the Rest Evercool brand sheets & comforter (and I'll never go back to regular sheets), but that comforter, although amazing, it is pretty boring in the looks department - and it's not large enough to drape properly and look nice on our King size bed. My hope was that I could add this duvet cover on top without a duvet in it - just for looks during the day, then at night, I could fold it back and just use the other one. I was afraid that without a duvet, the pin tuck design might not look good - like it might look wrinkly or something. I was pleasantly surprised to see how beautiful it was - just as is! And unlike some of the other brands the pin tucks are very visible and defined. Also, he fact they they offer it in such oversized options so it still looks super nice and hangs down the sides on a tall king size bed with a thick mattress and thick memory foam was awesome! I find that I'm actually using it sometimes when we turn the AC down low in a room. I can't say it feels super soft, but it does feel like a good, thick quality. Not that's it's scratchy either - not by any means - it's still on the soft side - I just wouldn't guess that the thread count was this high. It's more like a bit stiffer material than some materials, but it actually does feel quite good. I do feel like it's starting to soften up even more as we use it too. It's definitely much better than those cheaper versions that are polyester or something like that, where they feel light and soft but they make you sweat! The dark gray is lighter than the stock photo, which is what I was hoping! It is a nice medium to dark gray (on my computer the photo looks like an extra dark gray - like close to a light shade of black). I'm so glad I spent the extra money to get this one! I ordered the duvet cover in the color Teal. Even though at least one reviewer said it was definitely Blue, it is not. Nor is it emerald green as shown on my computer. It depends on the color of the lighting in your bedroom whether the Teal is more bluish (cool lighting) or greenish (warm yellow lighting). The cover is rich, gorgeous, soft, and light weight. I love that the opening for the down comforter is a hidden zipper--so much easier than buttons. Rather than putting the comforter inside the cover, we just lay it on top of the comforter right now as nights are not as cold, giving us the option to put it to one side. I plan to use the cover without any comforter in summer as my "bedspread" because it is well-made, so luxurious looking, and it adds depth and color to my bland beige bedroom. A wonderful purchase! I also ordered the bamboo sheets as some reviewers suggested. because I am a hot sleeper and the bamboo sheets help a lot to keep me cool. Light weight, easy to clean.     • Looks nice but attracts pet hair

I like the look but my dogs hair really sticks to it. It makes my light weight comforter a little too heavy to use for Florida warm weather but it will be better to use for the cooler months. It’s as easy as it could possibly be to put a king xl comforter inside.

Beautiful, satiney soft, cotton, marshmallow comfort! Perfect fit on our palatial/XL king down comforter. The white looks perfect. Our comforter is a dark grey, but you'd never know it because of the tight weave of this cover.
