Really nice guitar case for a decent price. I've ordered other Chinese made guitar cases before, and this one beats them all hands down. The soft plush blue interior looks really cool, especially with my blue burst colored guitar. It is a durable hard case with a nice exterior coating that looks like it is real leather! However, it is probably a quality vinyl. Hardware is polished brass. I have a Firefly brand ES335 style guitar from Amazon. These are a bit smaller than a Gibson or Epiphone ES335, and a slightly different shape, so the case is just a little big for my guitar, but that is okay. I took a couple of blue colored, plush, microfiber polishing cloths, folded one and tucked it behind the guitar for extra back support, rolled up the other and tucked it on the side of the guitar, so now it is a perfect tight fit, the color is close to the interior of the case. It really looks fine. Plus, the guitar wont move around when traveling, and I can also use the cloths to keep the guitar shining. I am very pleased with this guitar case. Plus Amazon included a 2 day free shipping with my Prime membership, so it arrived quickly. It is a Win! ... show more

This case fits my recently purchased FireFly 338 quite nicely. Don't know why FireFly doesn't manufacture a case for the 338, but they don't. Those that rated this case just 1 or 2 stars must be hard to please, but again, I suppose a few bad cases might make it through every now and then. All I can say is that my 338 fits snugly with no moving around when I shake it about. Construction seems fine with no defects that I can observe, and the case appears sturdy enough to protect my guitar. Storage compartment is larger than I expected, and the liner is semi lush and well padded. No solvent smell as some have reported. The latches are well made and well attached. The overall case just looks great, and seems as good as any other case costing twice as much ... show more

Hard to beat this price (packed well for shipping too). This is the second Crossrock case I have purchased from Amazon, the first being a 335 style case for my Firefly FF338 ( a bit roomy, but not bad). Both do the job quite well. Build quality & attention to detail is good ~ fairly sturdy & well padded at this price point. Just remember this is not a Taylor or Larrivee level case. Dusty blue interior is a nice change from black or maroon / wine. Fit is good for Agile, Vintage, ESP LTD Eclipse or pretty much any single cut LP copy out there. ... show more

Fits my Gretsch LTD double-cut well enough for home or local use. Not a perfect fit but its half the price of the official case. I would not consider this a roadworthy case, the interior is plush and the top and bottom feel pretty solid, but the sides feels like relatively thin laminate. I will definitely upgrade if I plan to leave town with the guitar. ... show more

...it was disappointing to open the box and see that top strip was sewn on crooked. It kind of wavers all the way around the case but never as bad as at the tippy top of the case. Otherwise remarkably like the case my long departed ES-335 had way back when; pretty much the same heft and feel. Padding is where and shaped the way its supposed to be. Interior fabric very similar in look and feel (but blue instead of amber). The fit with a Xavier VX-900 is close to perfect; a little loose (not a lot) (a little surprised because the Xavier is supposed to be 1/4" thicker than the 335 (measured at the edges presumably)). I got a cheap 335 copy for sentimental reasons and tell myself to overlook these little issues. When I put the guitar in the case, step back and turn off the OCD, it feels ridiculously authentic. While this case seems as sturdy as a Gibson, my guitar has light construction. In one way that's a silly mismatch, in another way the case compensates for the guitar's lack of ruggedness. Like they say about some wines: it's cheap, but you may be amused by its presumption. ... show more

OK, I am not going to kid you, the case is not perfect, but certainly close enough for around $90. It is sturdy and cradles my guitar nicely. It could be a bit snugger, but it was not a custom fit case for the guitar I bought. The inside is plush. I like that it hugs the guitar enough to put string imprints in the lid, but not so tight that I am concerned about stressing the body. My one concern is the handle. The connectors are just a bit thin and I worry that they might bend or break with any rough handling. So, handle with care. If I paid twice as much I might have given this case 3 or 4 stars, but I didn't and for under $100 this is a great buy. ... show more

Fits my acoustic semi-hollow Ibanez guitar. Has a little slot for my picks and papers and stuff. Does not protect (as expected) your guitar from warping due to heat. Still works great otherwise. Never had any issues with the locks not functioning right or anything--I can't say that for a lot of other types of products with locking mechanisms, not even my airport case. ... show more

I took a chance on this hard case for my new Firefly guitar. I am delighted that I made this choice, especially for the value. It is very sturdy, will protect an y guitar that fits in it for sure and will provide good support for it when stored within it. It is well constructed and tough. It has already had to protect my new guitar on 2 occasions from tough falls and being caught under a falling pile of books. I am pleased. It is not as good a quality as my hard case that came with my Gretsch guitar 45 years ago, but it is not protecting a $3,000 guitar either. It is definitely good enough for a guitar up to $1000 however! ... show more
