I was able to put this island together by myself without issues. Assembly was very easy and the island looks great! I put baskets on the open shelving and it has tons of storage. Goes perfect in my kitchen. Attached a couple pics in different lighting to give you an idea of the counter top - it's glossy, seems like a plastic resin type of material but it's heavy and looks great. I don't plan on cutting anything on it or putting anything too hot on it because I don't know the tolerance of this material ... show more

This is a copy of a much higher quality piece at Crates and Barrel. But this is only 1/4 of the price and 1/2 the weight. The original design has a stone counter top, but this piece has a vinyl top. I loveeeeee my kitchen island!! It’s so pretty and makes me happy🥰 It was very easy to put together and has helped so much with the lack of counter/storage space I have. I love looking at it and use it everyday. I get so many complements on it as well. You will not regret buying this!

Extremely happy with this island. Does look high end, but set at a budget friendly price. The top is faux marble, but again doesn’t come across as cheap. It’s a heavy piece, solid and sure to last years. This is also set at the best price on the internet, so buy here!

The top is laminate and probably should be handled with some care so as not to scratch it or scuff it, but that's easy enough with a cutting board. Nice looking piece for a kitchen. Perhaps a little overpriced. One edge of the top was slightly damaged but not enough of a concern to send back. Box showed up in rough condition but had all the parts. Easy to put together. It would be gorgeous piece with a real marble top it then it would cost 3x the price.
