  • If you are new to the hobby. This will be the fastest thing you have ever 'driven'. Stunningly fast.
Best bang for the buck out there for RC trucks/buggies. This is not a 'monster truck' it is built for speed on rough terrain. I guess you could 'bash' it about and try to break it, but that seems foolish as it WILL break. None-the-less repair parts are widely available and are of good quality. I have been through three of these 'Rollers' as they happen to be the cheapest way to complete an overhaul of an existing truck. The last truck I purchased I kept the roller and just swapped all the electronics and 'upgraded' parts to it and have a brand new 'upgraded' truck. It is a good idea to check the Diffs and drivetrain for lubrication as it is hit and miss from what I have seen. It does seem a bit odd ripping apart a brnad new 'toy'; but these are not toys this is hobby grade stuff. You will need to work on it if you play with it. It will break. It will constantly cost money to play with. Every dollar spent is worth it to me. Not for your 'Tiktok kid' you have to understand how to fix and maintain something. Watch some Youtube videos how to repair these before buying to see if it something you are interested in doing. Learn how to do a proper setup of the suspension and it will last many times amount of time of someone who buys one thinking it is ready to go right out of the box. Great value for what you pay; And, I will be buying more as I break parts and do more 'learning' at how to drive as fast as Ricky Bobby. I would give this 6 Stars if it let me. BTW Tamiya makes the best Poly Carbonate paint for painting the clear bodies. Good stuff. ... show more

  • Excellent Truck!
This is a great little platform. Not quite mini, not quite 1/10 scale. It handles so well and handles the extra power too. I have tried many combinations but currently have a Firma 100amp ESC with a Hobbywing 4000kv 3652 motor. Running the stock 24t pinion it does 62mph, wheelies, and backflips all day. Other mods are AGFRC 40kg servo, 500k in the center diff, and SMC 2200mah battery. For those of you who want to run a larger battery without using tie-wraps on the ESC, get the ESC seat from the XTS rally car. It bolts right onto the center brace. The reason they didn't offer this is because the ESC will now hit the body. You can just make a small cutout in the bed of the truck. I'd rather do that and have a nice place to mount the ESC than using tie-wraps. Also I really wish they would have gone with larger mod gears. With 48p .5 mod I'm always worrying about the mesh and possible binding. I know they offer a mod 1 center spool which is awesome for racing but not so great for bashing. It's much easier to break axles without a center diff. Edit: I just saw that there is a 32p .8 mod spur gear now! Going to try it out soon as it arrives. Will see how it runs with 16t/42t gearing. ... show more

  • So Close to Perfect, But a Few Things Made Me Send It Back
So Close to Perfect, But a Few Things Made Me Send It Back This RC truck is almost a total winner. The chassis and drivetrain are seriously solid—high quality all the way. Real carbon fiber parts, aluminum in the right spots, LSDs front and rear, and the body even comes with reinforcements. Plus a full printed manual with good diagrams (black and white, but still helpful). I’m into building, so getting it as a roller with an unpainted body was actually awesome. I had fun planning the paint and decals. The thing feels bombproof. But a few dumb issues killed it for me: 1. The sticker sheet is a joke. You get one set of black numbers, one set of white, but no matching pairs. Same with a couple cool decals—only one of each. Come on. 2. Screws were loose out of the box, and two were straight-up missing from the bumper brace. Not a huge deal, but annoying for something this nice. 3. The steering servo mount is some weird proprietary size. I had to 3D print an adapter, move the linkage, and relocate the receiver box just to use a normal servo. 4. Battery tray only fits their special battery. It *does* include extra mounts and more Velcro straps for standard hardcase LiPos, but even with those, the ESC still has to get relocated to make room. And here’s what finally made me return it: the truck is super compact, and I didn’t want to be stuck buying proprietary or hard-to-find parts. So to make everything fit with standard stuff, I ended up mounting the ESC on top of the chassis brace with 3D-printed spacers. That leaves it exposed to rocks, raises the center of gravity, and makes me nervous to bash it hard. Went from confident to sketchy real quick. Bottom line: if you’ve got a 3D printer and don’t mind tinkering, you can probably make it work. But for most people, these little things add up and turn a killer roller into a headache. Fix the stickers, include all the screws, use standard servo and battery mounts, and print the manual in color—and it’d be a 5-star no-brainer. As it is, I had to send it back. ... show more

  • Omni-roller Omni-roller
Really nice build quality! For the price it honestly can't be beat. Had some spare parts from a few other RC's that were in need of repair...slapped them in this roller and off she went. I put a few of the s2 upgrades on this roller and they all were high quality. I feel that running this thing on a 3650 is overkill, I don't have the need for speed. Dropped a tenshock 2943 4550kv and this thing rips on 2s and is plenty fast on 3s. Running a xerun sr8 sct, agfrc 18kg servo, a radiolink RC4GS remote, and a nice coating of Tamiya metallic purple paint. ... show more

  • Nice lil’ jumping monster truck w tons of extras Nice lil’ jumping monster truck w tons of extras
Love my Omni Terminator roller kit by Rlarrlo. Using a 4s electronic system and this lil’ mother rips - easy to do backflips - I did the drywall tape and shoo goo thing and glad I did. Nice quiet powerful system - I also did the silicone ear plug thing on the center diff. Also put some progressive shocks on th rear to help launches for gr8 jumps. I personally thing this a gr8 value RC truck - and a lot less than a Traxxas Mini Maxx. ... show more

  • Good deal
So I got this for spare parts. Too much red loctite on some parts needed a lot of heat to take apart but so far seller has been extremely helpful and replaced front and rear gearbox due to melting damage from heat. Plus the melted ones are still probably salvageable. Decent thing to do on sellers part replacing these damaged parts thank you. ... show more
