    • Good crimper tool for the Packard 56 terminals
This product does a good job crimping GM Packard 56 type electrical connectors. Although I've never used any other Packard 56 type crimper, I will assume this one is probably not the best. But it's still a very good affordable option that does work well for those older style terminals. It has different slots to crimp many different gauges as well as crimps the ring around the insulation. Although I admit it is a little bit confusing to use it. Because each different gauge slot requires flipping the tool over. It does get a little bit confusing. It's not spring loaded , I wish it was. But it seems solidly made and does the job well. Especially when the other option is $150 pair of Delphi crimpers. I purchased them for my American autowire update harness. And it does a good job terminating the ends. It is also made in China. But still seems to be a good quality product. Not the best, but reasonably good. I would definitely purchase again ... show more

Good crimper for the money. You crimp the connection and the rubber seal separately which is a good and a bad thing. I prefer the separation because every crimper I’ve used that crimps more than one surface at a time is always a pain in the neck to see and use. I use mine for work and it does fine but I don’t crimp this particular type of connector every day. ... show more

    • Good tools. Work great on “weather pack” type connectors
I’ve used these on a couple different types of weatherpack connectors and they work great! For the money, I don’t think they can be beat.

Isn’t a perfect fit, but after you use it a few times you get the hang of it, and it works almost as good as the $150 set. I’d buy it again.

By far one of the best crimping pliers. I used my friends pair at work three times last week alone. Thats when i knew that I needed them. On the maco tool truck the are 40 dollars so the price is just a bonus. Have used a lot of crimmpers in the pass some of them in the 150 dollars range still prefer these. ... show more

    • It does the job
This only crimps one of the two crimp sections of the terminal at a time. It does the job though, and much cheaper than the professional tools.

This was my first experience installing the Delphi Weatherpack connectors. I purchased the appropriate connector set, and, along with this tool, the install went very well and looks very original.
