Neat material but hard to weed. I cut a detailed piece using a new blade with standard pressure and if didn’t cut in one pass. Although it appeared to cut through, when I went to weed I had to pull it apart. With this stretchy foam like material, fine details lost their shape if stretched. But for larger letters this material worked great giving definition to the decal I ironed onto my friends shirt.

This review is for the Cricut 3-D Iron-On - 5ft Bold Sampler, 12in x 12in Sheets (5 Count) - HTV Heat Transfer Vinyl We used this vinyl to create a fun flower shirt for our granddaughter. We used the default settings for the cut (shiny side down, mirrored) and had no issues at the end. Weeding the cut vinyl was a breeze! It pulls away quickly and easily. I had to look up the Cricut heat press settings on their website and for a cotton shirt we did the press at 315 for 30 seconds. We actually forgot to shorten the time since I had two layers, but did both layers at the same amount of time (30 seconds each) and luckily had no issues with wrinkling or damaging the vinyl. So the vinyl seems to be durable and very forgiving with the heat press. The 3D basically means the vinyl is much thicker than normal HTV. It does not puff up or anything exciting, but it is more tactile and stands out a little more compared to the traditional stuff. We haven’t put the shirt through the wash yet but after multiple washes we can report back if we experience any issues with peeling edges or anything negative. For now, we are pleased with the ease of use and the look of the final product.

This cut super well, iron'd on super well but the thickness is a bit much. It felt like something I would pick at. If the purpose is out of reach this would be a great option, as well as if there's a high level of detail, as this weeded super easily and looks amazing.

These HTV sheets work so well! Most of them were easy to weed (had a little trouble with one but not anything serious) and they apply great! They’ve held up well after a few washes, so definitely have a strong hold. I would definitely buy this pack again if I wanted variety but I may just see if I can find the full rolls for the ones I would use more often.

I ordered this ‘Cricut 3-D Iron-On - 5ft Bold Sampler’ for my wife to use with her Cricut Explore machine. I was intrigued by the whole idea of 3-d vinyl. I must say that I’m impressed with this ‘Cricut 3-D Iron-On - 5ft Bold Sampler’. The results, though not mind blowing, still get a ‘wow’ out of me. The designs you make either this vinyl do pop. You can tell just by looking at them they have a dimensional quality about them. I do like the assortment of colors included in this ‘Cricut 3-D Iron-On - 5ft Bold Sampler’. The colors all lend themselves well to 3-d designs especially the silver and gold tones. It’s a bit hard to see the 3-effect on the black vinyl. The quality of the vinyl in this sampler pack is very good. It’s thick and very easy to work with. My wife said she never had vinyl sheets that were so easy to weed. I can recommend this ‘Cricut 3-D Iron-On - 5ft Bold Sampler’ for your Cricut machine. The quality is good…it’s easy to use…and it does add a whole new dimension to using your Cricut machine.

I've used a lot of different HTV vinyls for my projects, but this Cricut 3-D Iron-On is in a league of its own. I was so excited to try the puff effect, and it did not disappoint. The vinyl cuts beautifully on my Cricut machine—no issues with weeding at all. I followed the instructions for heat pressing, and the moment it cooled down, the design puffed up perfectly. The texture and dimension it adds to my t-shirts are incredible and truly make my projects look professional and unique. The bold sampler pack is great because it comes with a variety of colors, so I had everything I needed to create a few different designs right away. The 12-inch by 12-inch sheets are a good size and allow for a lot of flexibility. It adheres really well to the fabric and feels durable, like it will hold up to washing. If you're looking to take your Cricut projects to the next level and add some fun, eye-catching texture, you have to try this 3-D Iron-On. It's easy to use and the results are fantastic. I'm already planning my next project!
