Bought this a week ago. Pretty easier to put together. It came with a stubby screw driver, which was difficult to turn the screws so I ended up using my own bigger screw driver. Not really a complaint as I prefer the screws to be tight making for a sturdy stand. One of the cross bars chipped but not a big deal. Pros: * light weight * shelves are independently adjustable making it tailorable to each individual * good price compared to other stands Cons: * can’t collapse it to store like other stands * fixed levels for the shelves * could use more adjustment slots. I ended up adding a lower slot with my Dremel for the bottom tray to be more ergonomic for me. ... show more

    • Not Lasting Like I Expected
I liked this standing desk. When not standing I used it to adjust my monitor for zoom meetings and overall I found it to be pretty good. But, after a year, the wood is coming apart in places (it is made of three thin sheets laminated together and they are delaminating in places) and some parts have significantly warped - including the main table and the stand pieces - and this makes it very difficult to adjust, and it just doesn't look as good as it did when I bought it. ... show more

I’m very impressed with this standing desk. First, it’s beautiful. The edges are smooth, it fits together snugly, yet it’s easy to adjust manually. The skid proof pads in the bottom are a nice touch. I like that it looks like a sculpture, so it’s not out of place in my home office (a corner of my living room or my kitchen counter). It’s sturdy, with a brace that screws into the uprights so it’s solid. I had no problems with the holes aligning, plus it came with extra screws and a sturdy little Phillips head screwdriver - not a throwaway! That’s a really nice touch and speaks to the overall care and quality that went into the product. There are some downsides. The top shelf is narrow. I’m using it with a 15” MacBook Pro, and the depth of shelf is slightly under the depth of the laptop. And because of the upright supports, the usable width of the shelves is only 23 3/8”. I’m planning on adding another 15.6” portable monitor to my workstation, and I’m not sure I’ll be able to make both fit. (**Note: I’m using laptop risers - I’m tall so I need the extra height - which lets me put 2 laptops side by side. This is a good solution. See photos**) However, if you need to angle the laptop for any reason, it will hang over the front or back of the shelf. The phone holder channel on the shelf is useless for my iPhone 11 in a case. My standing desk came with separate bamboo phone holder, which is a nice touch. I am not using a standard monitor, so I don’t know how it will work with one. The keyboard shelf is generous enough to allow for a full size Apple keyboard and a mouse, with enough depth for my phone, post-its or other office ephemera. Being tall, I’d appreciate a bit more depth, but it’s not really a bother. Overall, it’s the least expensive standing desk available, it’s gorgeous and it’s a quality build. As long as you’re okay with manually adjusting from standing to sitting (and rearranging your setup) you can’t go wrong with this standing desk. ***** ... show more

    • Good standing desk. Durability in questions.
This desk riser is well-designed, easily assembled, and looks good. I put my laptop on the top shelf and a keyboard and mouse on the second shelf. The positioning of the slats is well-thought out and I'm able to comfortably use it with my arms relaxed, while standing. I'd say, value-wise, this is a good solution for a standing desk. The only problem is that, after a month, the second, longer slat has been warping and seems to be cracking. Again, I only have my keyboard and mouse on it. I use the desk while I work and study, and am not applying any extra force to it, as far as I can tell. I would give this 5 stars, but having that second shelf break would render this product nearly useless. ... show more

The desk is nice. The wood came a bit warped on the edge but all the things I've put on it has calmed it down a bit. I like the small size but nice capacity. Easy to put together. I didn't yet add the extra support bar they give as I want to put it together only when I use it. Small space, I have it in pieces unless I use it. Takes 3 minutes to put together! ... show more

This is decent for a standing desk, but not for switching from sitting to standing regularly. I have a 15" laptop that I place at the lowest notch at the bottom level - as shown in the picture, I have to bring it out halfway so that it doesn't hit the top level (even when the top level is at the highest notch). I end up having to remove the top level altogether whenever I want to sit and reattach it whenever I want to stand. When I'm standing, the top level (at the highest notch) is just a bit short for me that I need to add a riser. I'm not even that tall (just under 5'3"), and my table isn't particularly short (at sitting level my keyboard is a bit high). In summary, this desk serves its purpose with some modifications which are a bit inconvenient. I'm ok enough to keep it given its price point, but not as satisfied as other reviewers seem to be. ... show more

I purchased this standing workstation adapter because it is compact, more reasonably priced than many of its competitors, and in my opinion, good looking. It is simple to assemble, although I had several issues with it. 1. I think it would be more sturdy if there were an upper screwed-in cross brace. 2. The screwdriver is not large enough to adequately drive the four screws, not helped by the lack of countersinking of the holes in the frame. You need more leverage so I recommend a full-sized screwdriver. 3. The numbering of the parts on the assembly "instructions" sheet are inconsistent. Once you know how it's supposed to look, you can readily assemble it, but don't depend on the numbering in the instructions. Overall, I'm happy with this purchase. And in addition, the vendor shipped it very quickly and it was well packed and arrived in good order with all parts. ... show more

    • Nice design, glue didn't last
I've had this for about a year, and the glue holding the slats of bamboo together has disintegrated badly. I've had to glue strips back on, and one of the stand levels is rounded. It's a shame, as it's a nice design and could easily be more robust.
