I bought these because the decent price and to color match our other patio furniture. Very nice chairs, especially for the price [Inner voice: WHY ARE POOL CHAIRS SO EXPENSIVE?!?!?). The back adjuster feels a little flimsy, but it’s too early to tell if there’s a durability issue. The first chair took about 30 minutes to assemble—hardware is wimpy so be careful tightening to not strip the head. There are two screws slightly longer than the others. Put those aside when you start out, so they don’t get mixed up. I didn’t, but I’m also an idiot so be better than me. The second chair took me 12 minutes (wife timed me while critiquing my handiness and drinking White Claws. At least I’m not basic...hopefully she doesn’t see this). ... show more

NOTE: This review WILL be updated upon seeing how Crestlive Products resolves the problem good or bad. So far, the loungers arrived rather quickly than expected, so that was a pleasant surprise. Delivered while home so the driver set them right in my garage until we could get the time to begin assembly. The boxes are large but not heavy. The first lounger build was a disappointment. As pictured, the piece arrived bent making the fabric fold and uneven, and we were short the right amount of hardware as pictured to complete the build of one of the support legs. Every lounger, and we bought 4 of these, was throughly inspected after this before proceeding to build it. There were minor chips in the paint and small dents in some frames, BUT all in areas we decided we'd live with. The dents were underneath and the paint can always be touched up. We had trouble with 3 of the predrilled holes with threaded inserts in the legs. Mainly, the threaded insert was not lined up straight so it took some playing around with to get it. What helped us was to screw in the bolt off of the lounger, take the bolt back off the leg, and then assemble it. The loungers seem ok for the most part, they look fairly nice, but there's nothing high quality about them. We contacted Crestlive Products. So far, they said they would send the missing hardware. In regards to the bend defect they asked if we could bend it straight. The answer is no. They offered to refund $20 for the defect. We don't want a defect. We bought 4 of these spending close to $700. We asked them to ship us a replacement piece so we'll see if Crestlive Products stands behind their products or leaves customers with buy at your own risk. UPDATE: I moved from 1 star to 3 because the company sent us a new lounger, but at first they only offered a small insignificant refund. The loungers are ok but to be honest I would spend more money and get better quality items, that is if you have the money to do so. If not, these will do the job and should hold up fine for a while. ... show more

    • Adequate Design But Poor Manufacturing Made Assembly a Chore

Overall, this product is as one might expect. However, the time required to assemble is significantly more than indicated because of the lack of precision (and, therefore, quality) in manufacturing. About 70% of the bolts and threading was aligned, clean and clear. The other 30% of male/female threading was marginally defective to some degree. I was able to get all but one of the bolts all the way in, but only after using other tools to remove metal blocking the entry of bolts, or to force defective bolts into the threading with great effort (and heavy duty tools that I have, fortunately; the flimsy little hex wrench and wrench that come with it might have sufficed in theory, if it had been manufactured properly--but were wholly insufficient for the purpose). So if you don't mind a trip to the hardware store or have additional tools and know-how, just short of a die-and-tool kit to rethread, go for it. Including my fixing for the poor manufacturing, total assembly time for both chaises was 1 hour 40 minutes. On a positive note, all of the pieces indicated were included, which is not always the case with assemble-yourself furniture. Also, the design itself seems adequate and assembly is not overly complicated (even if the directions are tiny and unclear, much has been pre-assembled, and the remaining assembly is somewhat intuitive) and would likely be relatively simple if the pieces were well manufactured. As for longevity, we'll see how the cloth holds up over a few seasons. ... show more

    • Very good but need QC on the backrest

The wheels are sturdy and look very durable. Metalwork quality is not 5 stars but excellent for the price. No rust problems anticipated. The worst thing was that the backrest part was 5/8" out out of square, my husband had to rack it into square. Now the fabric that was fairly flat looks a bit odd. Hopefully it will ease into the new shape and become flat. It took almost an hour to do the first one due to the misaligned backrest. Check for square before you start. For the amount we paid, I did not expect these to be nearly as beautiful and high quality as they are - even my husband was impressed! I put them together myself and it took no time at all - the directions are straightforward and all the tools you need come right in the pack, and they actually work! These are super comfortable as well - I like that the fabric has some give, so it molds to your body, unlike a wooden lounger, and you won't slide through the slats like some of the rubbery ones. You also don't have to buy a separate cushion and the fabric is breathable, so doesn't seem like it will get too hot to lay on. The pillows are a great touch too. ... show more

Love these chairs. They were a great value for the money. Don’t look cheap. Easily adjustable. The wheels make them easy to move around my patio to follow the sun without making scratches on my pavers. Been wanting reclining chairs for so long and they did not disappoint.
