This is the best snorkel I've had. It doesn't let water in while swimming normally, most keeps water out when you dive down thanks to the bead at the top and any water in the snorkel once you re-surface can be blown out through the bottom valve. Once, the bead got stuck and I couldn't breathe but had luckily read reviews that mentioned this, so don't panic. It occasionally happens if seaweed etc get stuck in the shaft. ... show more

This is the best snorkel I’ve ever used. I’ve been diving for 42 years. Dry breather. If water splashes in, it’s very easy to clear. Curved just right. Attaches easily but firmly to a mask strap.

I use this primarily when scuba diving (so it’s not really used as much as part of the kit) but recently did some snorkeling with it and really liked it. Able to freedive dive deep and not have to purge much. The one way valve also prevents inadvertently sucking in water when the top gets too close to the surface. I bought another snorkel that is similar to this one but with a very slight difference. The mouthpiece of the Cressi has a slight bend which makes it much more comfortable in the water. I was very surprised at the difference this makes!
